Our client in a dairy industry is looking to recruit a refrigeration in Nairobi.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Ammonia System or a large refrigeration system to meet Production’s refrigeration requirements.
• Manage the safety of the refrigerators and air conditioners
• Operating tools, gauges and other testing equipment for refrigeration systems.
• Diagnosing malfunctions and defects in equipment.
• Trouble shooting, repair and overhaul of refrigeration systems.
• Performing root cause analysis on refrigeration equipment failures to prevent reoccurrence
• Provide technical direction on preventative maintenance for all refrigeration and air conditioning equipment
• Trouble-shoot Air Conditioning equipment malfunctions, diagnose problems and perform maintenance on
• Refrigeration & Air Conditioning equipment.

Qualifications

• Must have diploma in refrigeration & air-conditioning from technical training institute
• 5 years of experience working in industry as refrigeration technician preferably (dairy/Food & beverage) industry
• Ability to work independently
• Strong analytic skills
• Great problem solving skills

Our Client in Dairy industry is urgently looking for a Mechanical Technician to join their dedicated team in Nairobi.

Responsibilities

• Repairing and servicing factory machines and replacing parts as necessary
• Performing timely preventive and corrective maintenance on factory machines and equipment
• Maintaining records for the machines i.e. operating hours, service schedule
• Attending to machine break downs and other equipment’s
• Any other duties as assigned by your superior

Qualifications

• Should have diploma in mechanical engineering from renowned technical training institute .
• 5 years of experience working in industry as maintenance technician preferably from (dairy/Food & beverage) industry
• Good communication skills.
• Good record keeping skills

Responsibilities

• Planned and autonomous maintenance of manufacturing machines and accessories.
• Quick trouble shooting of electrical and electro-mechanical faults and providing correct feedback regarding electro-mechanical problems.
• Use of workshop test and measurement gears provided by the company.
• General factory maintenance and improvement activities complying with ISO standard.
• Design and assembling of control panels.
• Advise the production team on when to shut down for maintenance.
• Provide a working schedule and a maintenance sheet.
• Cost Optimization
• Control of all tools provided by the company
• Liaise with all other sections/departments for efficient running.
• Reporting on any electro-mechanical fault in the plant.
