    Personal Assistant

    (JOB REF: MN 7455)

    Our client, a State Regulatory Corporation and a major player in the financial services sector in Kenya wishes to recruit a Personal Assistant to the CEO who will be interacting with the CEO And Senior Managers.

    Duties & Responsibilities 

    • Managing the CEO’s diary, coordinate business and personal appointments and provide administrative support
    • Participating in organization of Board meetings as and when required; drafting agendas, and taking minutes in the meeting
    • Arranging travel and accommodation for the CEO and BOD when required; booking flights, hotels, transfers, organizing foreign currency and arranging appointments with business partners based Internationally
    • Managing and ensuring efficient filing, documentation, safe custody and retrieval of CEO’s confidential records (official/personal)
    • Filtering general information, queries, telephone calls and invitations to the CEO by redirecting or taking forward such contacts as appropriate
    • Taking minutes in senior management meetings and other meetings assigned
    • Supervising security and other support staff in the CEO’s office

    Person Profile

    • Six (6) years relevant work experience with at least three (3) years in management
    • Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: Commerce, Finance, Economics, Business Administration from recognized institution
    • Master’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: Commerce, Finance, Economics, Business Administration from recognized institution
    • Professional qualification
    • Membership of a professional body
    • Proficiency in computer applications

    Human Resources Assistant Manager

    Duties And Responsibilities

    • Assist the Head of HR and Administration and HR Manager with general Human resource matters
    • Assisting in maintaining contracts, personnel files and other employee information and up to date personal records for all employees
    • Assisting in staff leave processes by administering and processing leave and maintaining an up to date data base of all leave records
    • Providing administrative support to the recruitment process by participating in developing job descriptions and person specifications, checking application forms and short-listing for jobs
    • Support the provision of staff welfare activities in the department
    • Provides support in the administration of various benefits such as the medical cover
    • Support compliance to Work Injuries & Benefits Act, WIBA provisions and corporation’s personal accident and insurance scheme
    • Assist in preparation of monthly and annual reports
    • Files personal data and information to respective staff files
    • Opening of HR personal files
    • Closing and archiving HR personal files
    • Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time

    Person Profile

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or equivalent from a recognized university
    • Higher National Diploma in HRM
    • At least six (6) years’ experience in human resource functions
    • Must be a member of the Institute of Human Resource Management

    Strategy & Compliance Manager

    Our client, a State Regulatory Corporation and a major player in the financial services sector in Kenya wishes to recruit a Strategy and Compliance manager who will be interacting with the CEO and senior managers.

    Duties And Responsibilities

    • Overseeing implementation & monitoring of corporate strategies and initiatives to achieve their constitutional mandate
    • Contributing to the annual planning process to ensure that long-term and annual business plans are developed on time and to the highest quality standards
    • Leading in strategy monitoring and evaluation and provision of performance feedback to departments
    • Developing accountability structures, oversee periodic reporting and projects and monitor the performance indicators of all departments
    • Understanding business direction and needs and develop solutions, roadmaps and assessment of potential business impacts

    Person Profile

    • A minimum of two (2) years experience in corporate strategy and compliance, project management or corporate performance management
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Finance or in a relevant field from an Institution recognized in Kenya
    • Experience in resource mobilization, funds management, monitoring and evaluation
    • Member of a professional body
    • Practical knowledge of project planning software applications and their use (such as MS Project)
