    Acquisition, Capability And Talent Intern

    Department Description

    We are pleased to announce the following internship opportunities in the Talent Acquisition & Capability Management department within Resources Division. The main aim of the internship is to give on-going university students an opportunity to experience and work in a real corporate environment.

    Brief Description

    Reporting to the Senior Manager – Talent & Resourcing, the role holder will be exposed to several key areas and roles.

    Detailed Description

    • Manage low level department programs
    • Provide project management support for department activities
    • Records Management
    • Reporting and Analytics
    • Track calendar of departmental activities
    • Event Management
    • Running resource center
    • Liaise with consultants on specific workshops and programs
    • Manage relationships with departmental external providers
    • Provide coordination support during departmental & divisional activities
    • Participate in ongoing Talent programs

    Job Requirements

    • Under - graduate student (On-going) in the Human Resource field - Indicate your year of study and expected Graduation date on your CV
    • Hands-on experience in use of Microsoft Office applications especially MS Excel
    • Proactive, confident, energetic with the ability to work under pressure to tight schedules/deadlines and monitor and follow up on all actions taken

    • To ensure uniformity of information representation – formats, layouts, fonts, and frames should all be standard asper the agreed standard, should be available at all times and updated to within24 hours
    • To provide feedback to users on queries related to performance statistics within 24 hours
    • To ensure information on changes is communicated to the team supported within the agreed timelines
    • To respond to customer related issues so as to provide consistent quality of service and get excellent customer rating;

    Job Requirements

    • Must be a continuing degree student in Sales/Marketing/Business Administration in a recognized University
    • Hands on administration experience in a FMCG or service sector.
    • Ability to plan and organize work.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Good report writing skills and proficient in using Microsoft Excel;

    M-Pesa Agent Support - Intern

    Department Description

    Reporting to the Manager – M-PESA Agent Support, the position holder will provide administrative support to assigned M-PESA Agents and ensure effective and smooth channel operations and revenue delivery.

    Detailed Description

    • To provide administrative support, facilitate and enforce M-PESA agent compliance with M-PESA Agents Operating Standards/Regulation/ Processes/ procedures and contract.
    • To process documentation on all targeted and general M-PESA agent communication and progress reports for assigned Agents.
    • To ensure access management and availability of systems, process /procedures that facilitate M-PESA agent operations.
    • To provide structured support in M-PESA Agent Operations for assigned Agents including Float targets administration, float accessibility and M-PESA Agent performance Reporting/ Communication.
    • To provide end to end management of all administrative Agents requests, new Agent head office and store on-boarding including operationalization.
    • To manage Safaricom relationship with assigned M-PESA agents through prompt resolution of dealer escalations in liaison with all internal stakeholders.
