    Supervisor

    Job Description

    Overall Responsibility /Key Responsibilities

    Act in accordance with the instructions of and comply with all lawful directions of the Company
    Promote and safeguard at all times the interests of the Company and its business and not do anything detrimental to those interests.

    Qualifications and Experience Education:

    • Diploma in any of the following; Business Administration, Hotel Management, Business Management and Certificate in Customer Service, front office, House keeping
    • Experience: Minimum 3 to 4 years work experience in a supervisory position
    • Excellent communication and reporting skills
    • Ability to organize many different operations, analyzes budgets, solve problems and multitask
    • Good interpersonal skills
    • Experience in Hotel Industry will be an added advantage.

    Assistant Accountant

    Job Description

    Basic Salary 25,000-30,000

    Overall Responsibility

    Shall be assistant accountant providing accounting and debtors management

    Key Responsibilities

    • Act in accordance with the instructions of and comply with all lawful directions of the Company
    • Promote and safeguard at all times the interests of the Company and its business and not do anything detrimental to those interests. 
    • Performs basic bookkeeping duties, either manually or with the use of accounting software such as QuickBooks or Microsoft Money. 
    • Keeps a running tally of all deposits and debits, preparing a ledger for approval by the senior accountant. 
    • Using either bookkeeping software or spreadsheet creation programs such as Microsoft Excel, she creates documents/ reports that highlight all requested information. 
    • Processing receipts, sales invoices and payments - Completing VAT return forms
    • Ensuring that accounts are accurately monitored and recorded
    • Fixed Assets Management and Depreciation

    Qualifications and Experience

    • CPA Section 4 with 2-4 years’ experience, as well as working knowledge in a similar role.
    • Experience on debtors management, bank reconciliation and QuickBooks is an added advantage 
    • Must be keen to details. - Excellent mathematical, multitasking, and computer skills. 
    • Must be able to maintain records regarding transactions on computers.
    • Proficiency in using computers and other machines required for transactions.
    • Must be professional, polite, and reliable. - Integrity, honesty and accountability in all dealings.

    Restaurant Manager

    Job Description

    Basic Salary 40,000- 45,000

    Responsibilities

    • Coordinating daily restaurant management operations
    • Delivering superior food and beverage service and maximizing customer satisfaction
    • Responding efficiently and accurately to restaurant customer complaints

    Responsibilities

    • Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations
    • Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction 
    • Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints 
    • Regularly review product quality and research new vendors 
    • Organize and supervise shifts
    • Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity 
    • Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products 
    • Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
    • Manage restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it
    • Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
    • Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses 
    • Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events
    • Recommend ways to reach a broader audience (e.g. discounts and social media ads) 
    • Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
    • Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations

    Requirements 

    • Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, Hospitality Manager or similar role 
    • Proven customer service experience as a manager
    • Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff 
    • Familiarity with restaurant management software, like Open Table and Peach Works
    • Strong leadership, motivational and people skills 
    • Acute financial management skills
    • BSc degree in Business Administration; hospitality management or culinary schooling is a plus

    Waiter / Waitress

    Job Description

    Basic salary Ksh.12, 000 -15000

    Overall Responsibility

    Waiters/waitresses are responsible for ensuring that customers have a satisfying dining experience

    Key Responsibilities

    • Explain how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods. 
    • Prepare tables for meals, including setting up items such as linens, silverware, and glassware. 
    • Remove dishes and glasses from tables or counters; take them to kitchen for cleaning.

    Qualifications and Experience

    Chef

    Job Description

    Overall Responsibility

    Prepares food for clients to the exact head chef’s specifications and to set up stations for menu.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Helps devise new methods of cooking and new menu items. 
    • Streamlines work from back of house to front of house 
    • Inspect food preparation and serving areas to ensure observance of safe, sanitary food-handling practices.
    • To carry out all duties within kitchen areas in accordance with health, hygiene and safety regulations 
    • Portion, arrange, and garnish food, and serve food to waiters or patrons to required standards as specified by Chef 
    • Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages
    • Consult with supervisory staff to plan menus, taking into consideration factors such as costs and special event needs.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Diploma/Certificate from culinary college or university; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Food Production knowledge of techniques and equipment including storage/handling techniques.
