    Sales Manager

    Job Description

    The Role

    Based in Rift Valley (western), Mount Kenya (mountain) or Kisii (Southern) markets and reporting to the General Manager. The role will be responsible for carrying out sales forecast and the development of operational strategies at the regional level to ensure the sale and profitability of the full range of our products. The role will conduct analysis on business, industry and total market trends to inform strategic decisions and actions. Will be accountable for the regions sales performance and the continuous growth and maintenance of market share and will ensure value creation and commercial business growth through the establishment and maintenance of strong business relationships with our customers and other related stakeholders. More specifically the role will be responsible for regional business growth and the achievement of targets in volume, revenue, trade execution, new business and staff development. It will establish and oversee the implementation of functional business plans and budgets to realize value for money.

    The Person

    We are looking for an energetic, business focused, results driven manager who can work in high pressure and high performance change environment. The role requires a versatile, quick learner and adaptable team player and team developer. The person will have at least 7 years' experience in Sales and Marketing Management of which at least 3 years must be at the level of a Regional Sales Manager in a fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) organization.     Area Sales Manager

    Job Description

    The Role.

    Based in our Rift valley. Mount Kenya or Kisii markets and reporting to the Regional Sales Manager. Responsible for management of Key Distributor effectiveness & operating standards, effectively managing the pull and push strategy through the product supply chain to ensure achievement of sales volume and revenue targets, ensuring top of class execution standards for agreed PICOs in the market through proper and effective supervision and empowerment of Account Developers and Route Salesmen. The role drives the achievement of daily, weekly, monthly and annual sales volume and revenue targets and ensures that this is done with the aid of a robust sales force automation (SFA) system. The successful candidate will also be responsible for total trade development in his/her market and will be accountable for and not limited to new outlet creation and development to gain numerical distribution and secure market share. He / she will develop by way of training and coaching teams placed under him and regularly appraise their performance against established key performance indicators.

    The Person

    The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelors' Degree in sales and marketing or a bachelors' degree in any other field plus professional qualifications in sales and marketing. Minimum 5 years' experience in selling, three (3) of which must be as a Sales Manager in a fast moving consumer goods and busy organization. Experience in an organization operating within an ERP environment will be an added advantage. He/she must possess a valid driving license with not less than 3 years continuous driving experience.

    Route To Market Manager

The role will be responsible for the design, review and maintenance of excellent route to market strategy which delivers an effective and efficient OBPPC agenda for the company. The role will undertake route design and mapping for all company distributors with keen focus on route productivity and resource efficiency aided by modern tools and geo-mapping systems. It will identify opportunities in the market's OBPPC and establish the most effective strategy, routes and means to tap potential sales. Drives both the operational and strategic route resourcing agenda with the company's distributors and ensures binding commitments with such partners for business growth and route service. Coordinates the RTM activities and adjusts routes to meet customer needs, improve efficiencies, analyze and resolve work problem by developing leading edge RTM programs and ensure appropriate controls and reporting tools, development and monitoring of business routines that deliver high success rates, route productivity and route completion. Undertakes the development of an RTM plan for the emerging modern retail channel, maintain high level numeric distribution, maintain and continuously review the company's every dealer database and to take advantage of all opportunities arising from both organic and inorganic growth of our market

    Trade Marketing, Insights & Key Accounts Manager

    The Role

    Based in our Rift Valley, Mount Kenya or Kisii regions and reporting to the General Manager. The role will be responsible for the development of winning trade marketing strategies/activities for NARTD growth and share gain. Supports the Integrated Trade Marketing Planning (ITMP) process and initiates appropriate interventions to capture opportunities and develops optimal Trade Marketing budgets. Supports preparation of Annual Trade Marketing Plans (ATMP) for all channels in conjunction with the Sales teams. Recommends winning commercial propositions and/or clear promotional guidelines (CPG) based on shopper understanding, current market knowledge and current NARTD performance. Gathers market intelligence information and analyses it to inform business actions. Responsible for the development of appropriate PICOs and total market execution. Drives all marketing activities and programmes within the allocated area. Analyses trade execution data to develop trends and provide advice to management on strategic actions to mitigate poor market performance. Drives the development of the Key Account joint business plan (JBP) and sales strategy for assigned channels and leads teams to achieve superior supplier performance ratings as part of customer intimacy model execution in the Modern Trade. Recruits, serves and grows special outlets to the satisfaction of outlet owners and meet the company's objective. Offers skill to effectively credit for our key accounts to ensure a continuous supply pipeline.

    The Person

    The successful candidate will be a seasoned Sales and marketing professional capable of interpreting market data to inform viable and profitable business actions. He/she will be highly analytical both quantitatively and qualitatively to succeed in this role. The role requires a versatile, quick learner and adaptable team player but critical analyst. He/she will have at least 7 years' experience in Sales and Marketing Management with at least 4 years' in Marketing and Key Accounts specialization experience in a fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) organization.     Audit & Risk Officer

    The Role

    Based at Nyeri, Kisii, or Eldoret and responsible for managing business risks at the plant level; ensuring opportunities within the corporate risk framework are proactively leveraged by advising the management on effective levers and mitigation measures, conduct and document compliance risk assessments for each function in the business Unit, Monitor and track relevant operational risk activities including regular review and follow up of functional risk self-assessments at scheduled intervals, develop an operational risk database and update compliance periodically to maintain the agreed benchmarks, Coordinate with Departmental Heads in the conduct of regular risk self-assessments schedules and action plans, Conduct internal audits from time to time to test effectiveness of controls and systems, Track and enforce closure of corrective actions arising from internal and external audits in liaison with the KORE coordinator (financial, processes and systems), Communicate any new tools or technological approaches to measuring operational risks for the business unit, to assist in any special assignments and investigations as may be required by the management into any matter or activity affecting operating efficiency.

    The Person.

    The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelors' Degree in Business Administration or equivalent, Risk management certification and preferably a CISA. Minimum 3 years' experience in Risk Assessment in an FMCG. Experience in an organization operating within an ERP environment is mandatory.     The ideal candidate will possess a form four certificate with a minimum C-grade achievement. He will have a valid driving license BCE with the articulated (ART) driver certification for trailer drivers.     Operations Supervisor

    Job Description

    Based in Kisii, Nyeri or Eldoret and reporting to the Operations Manager. The role will be responsible for the daily planning of distribution operations work and execution of the day's plan to achieve agreed targets. The role will among other tasks perform daily allocation of work to operations staff including loading, offloading & warehouse assistants, truck drivers among others. The role will be accountable for inventory in the plant both in full goods and empty containers , customer satisfaction in relation to timely and in full delivery of customer orders and the effective management of staff to achieve set targets. Effective and efficient fleet management will be a key success factor in this role.

    The Person

    We are looking for a hands on, apt and experienced planner with highly developed coordination skills. The ideal candidate will be of high integrity having hands on experience in the management of operations in a high produce - to - stock organization. He or she must have a minimum three (3) years' experience at a supervisory level in a very fast consumer goods distribution organization. The successful candidate will have a bachelors' degree in Supply Chain management, Business administration or related. Qualifications in Accounting will be an added advantage. He / she must be ready to work for long hours under pressure and must have highly developed and applied interpersonal skills.
