    Security & Safety Officer

    Responsible for a wide range of security measures including keeping and maintaining records of crime charges and incidents.

    Responsibilities

    • Assisting the Security & Safety Officer I in the planning, organizing, directing, supervising and appraising the work of Security and Safety Wardens in consultation with the Head of Department.
    • Conducting Hospital Security audits / penetration tests on the potential security lapses within the Hospital.
    • Participating in Quality Assurance (QA), Occupational Safety Health & Environment (OSHE) and other departmental committees.
    • Ensuring security strategies for prevention and detection of crime are working effectively.
    • Conducting internal security investigations on all security incidences in the Hospital.
    • Providing close escort and/or protective services to Very Important Person (VIP) to internal visiting VIPs in the Hospital.
    • Writing security and safety related reports.
    • Providing command and leadership, including matters of discipline.
    • Any other relevant duties as may be assigned from time to time.

    Experience

    • Served in the grade of Senior Security and Safety Services Warden or equivalent position for at least three (3) years in a reputable organization; OR served in the grade of Security and Safety Services Warden II or its equivalent for at least three (3) years

    • Command and leadership, basic crime investigation, crime detection, investigation and prevention courses, among other professional courses would be an added advantage.

    ICT Officer

    ICT Officer (Network and Infrastructure Administrator) will be responsible for Analysis, design, installation, configuration, maintenance and repair of the network infrastructure and application components.

    Responsibilities

    • Designing, setting up and configuring complex switching environments and complex wireless networks that support secured access and the ability to support voice and video applications.
    • Configuring and setting up Cisco Firewalls, VPN Concentrators and Security appliances for access to vital mission critical applications
    • Maintaining network security through proper configuration of VPN and Firewalls.
    • Setting up and maintaining the LAN and its associated components (switches, structured cabling, power provisioning etc.)
    • Assisting in the designing of multi-server environments including IP address schemes, DNS, WINS.
    • Providing technical assistance and support to internal staff, vendors, and partner agencies.
    • Maintaining both the wired & wireless network inclusive of performance, security, throughput and upgrades.
    • Implementing network upgrades by developing, testing, evaluating, and installing enhancements.

    • Implementing effective maintenance of all hardware inclusive of enterprise hardware such as servers, storage, switches, routers, and UPS’s.
    • Troubleshooting of network hardware and software applications, IP Phones and security systems to resolve operational issues and restore services.
    • Ensuring all work and changes to infrastructure components are performed in such a way as to minimize disruptions to existing ICT services.
    • Assisting in keeping track of the Hospital’s infrastructure assets and ensuring that the infrastructure and data is kept secure at all times.
    • Ensuring technology is used, managed and supported in accordance with the Hospital’s standards, policies and procedures.

    Procurement Officer

    The main role of the procurement manager will be to deliver on a group procurement plan, which will include spends consolidation and management of the tender process, leveraging on volumes and expertise.

    This position will supervise Stores team within the hospitals.

    Responsibilities

    • Identifying target markets and developing strategies to communicate with them.
    • Deliver on the Kenyan strategic procurement initiatives and roll out the procurement plan.
    • Develop key processes, procedures and work templates at Hospital level to ensure continuous improvement and adhere to the ISO 9001 principles.
    • Foster savings by using the procurement levers such as standardization, optimization, consolidation and outsourcing.
    • Assist in building the category management plan.
    • Ensure continuous supply of medical supplies whilst minimizing inventory costs.
    • Co-ordinate tenders and negotiate with vendors as required.
    • Co-ordinate the effective resolution of vendor queries & other finance related issues. Assist in the sourcing of products as required.
    • Chair the Group procurement committee.
    • Implement the supplier performance management plan; roll out KPIs and report on performance of suppliers.
    • Manage price agreements and contracts as required.
    • Assist in Oracle system roll out throughout our facilities on the procurement agenda.
    • Any other relevant duties as may be assigned from time to time.
