    Instruments Engineer

    Ref. CHEMELIL SUGAR COMPANY LTD/IE/2018

    Responsible for operations and management of instruments section for safe operations through provision of accurate instrumentation and sound maintenance of all instruments/equipment.

    Responsibilities

    Managerial / Supervisory Responsibilities

    • Supervision of assistant engineers and instruments technicians.
      Oversee service, maintain and repair of instruments

    Operational Responsibilities / Tasks

    • Carry out assigned weekly and annual maintenance jobs in an effective and timely manner so as to meet set deadlines as per schedule

    Responsibilities

    The job holder manages the Human Resource department and implements Human Resource policies and procedures to ensure the organization is resourced with professional, competent and motivated workforce to deliver its strategic objectives.

    Head Of Agriculture

    The job holder is responsible for production and supply of good quality milling cane to the factory, supply of good quality seed cane in the zone, coordinate service delivery with machinery both in the factory and in the field and oversee the maintenance of sugar roads.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide leadership in the department.
    • Supervise Cane Development Credit and authorize regular payment of cane proceeds to farmers.
    • Oversee implementation of the department’s aspects of service charter.

    Responsible for the planning, programming and ensuring optimum availability of mechanical plant and machinery for efficient cane offloading and milling to achieve targeted cane through put and parameters for maximum sugar production.

    Responsibilities

    • Plans periodic weekly maintenance tasks and ensure they are carried out and in time.
    • Requests and inspects spares required for plant maintenance.

    Engineering Manager - Electrical

    Job Purpose

    The job holder is responsible for coordinating and managing the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical/ instruments systems within and outside the factory and ensures safe generation, distribution utilization and control of electrical power.

    Responsibilities

    • Ensure installation of all electrical systems within the Company in line with Institute of Electrical and
    • Electronic Engineers (IEEE) standards.
    • Coordinate all repair and maintenance works on domestic and industrial electrical installations within Chemelil.

    • Carry out electrical equipment inspections and take necessary actions.
    • Coordinate the troubleshooting and the rectification of all electrical faults on motors, switchgears and other electrical appliances.
