    Support Engineer

    Our Client in the IT industry is currently looking to hire a Service Center Support Engineer.

    Responsibilities

    • Installation and configuration of computer hardware operating systems and applications
    • Ability to take staff and/or clients through a series of preventive actions, either face to face or over the telephone to help set up systems or resolve issues
    • Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports to the Clients
    • Work continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate);
    • Prioritize and manage many open cases at one time and keeping them up to date
    • Low and high end level pc, laptop and printer installation, hardware & software troubleshooting and repairs.
    • Analyze and diagnose and resolve problems in real time.
    • Courtesy calling existing customers to ensure business stability and Assisting with enquiries and issues affecting their operations.
    • Provide real time resolution to escalated customer support inquiries;
    • Ensure continuous monitoring of customer issues until they are resolved;
    • Carry out proactive hardware maintenance and monitor all hosted equipment;
    • Understand and convert customer technical requirements to solutions;
    • Ensure IT policies and processes are followed at all times;
    • Delivering solutions to both technical and non-technical end users while also supporting a wide range of technologies
    • Resolving escalated customer complaints without the need for team lead intervention
    • Documenting troubleshooting and problem resolution steps
    • Participation in providing training to customers as required
    • Perform any other job that may be assigned by the management.

    Requirements

    • BSC Degree or equivalent; post graduate degree desirable
    • Minimum of 3  years
    • Knowledge of Windows OS, general desktop and printer support issues
    • Have the necessary HP Certifications for HP Products (Desktops, Laptops, Printers and Plotter Models.
    • Thorough knowledge of equipment, system and application design.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification.
    • Provide training to internal users.
    • Ability to travel as needed.
    • Project Management skills
    • Time Management skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism are critical

    Area Sales Representative

    Our client is in the FMCG industry currently recruiting an area sales representative

    Developing and growing business in the assignment territory, servicing and ensuring all customer requirements are met.

    Responsibilities

    • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets of assigned areas/customers, as agreed with the supervisors.
    • Promote, seek and secure timely sales orders for company products and participate in agreed sales and marketing events within the allocated territory.
    • To keep assigned distributors, wholesalers and key accounts in area of jurisdiction aligned to the agreed plans and ensure product availability in all outlets within the assigned area.
    • Identify new distributors and recommend their appointment.
    • Timely collection and accounting for all sales proceeds.
    • Timely submission of customer orders.
    • Penetration into new markets, develop existing markets through existing and new product listing.
    • Contribute in planning and implementation of departmental sales and marketing plans.
    • Proposing changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
    • Recommend and execute promotional activities on approval.
    • Monitor and report customer service levels and product quality for remedial action.
    • Prepare and maintain a record of sales activities and other related market activities including, counterfeits competition and advice management accordingly.
    • Supervise and give on the job training to sales representatives in assigned area and ensure efficient and effective execution of their daily tasks.
    • Ensure designated customers in designated area are within the approved credit terms.
    • Consolidate weekly sales reports, daily call sheets and other related market activities including competitor activities.
    • Ensure optimum utilization of vehicle allocated and keep it clean.
    • In liaison with the Area Sales Representative, supervise merchandisers in assigned area and ensure efficient and effective execution of their daily tasks.
    • Any other duties as may be assigned by the Deputy Sales & Marketing Manager or any other authorized superior.

    Requirements

    • Diploma in Marketing Management, Business Management or related field.
    • Degree in business related field (Added Advantage)
    • Strong proven track record of sales and marketing experience in a fast moving consumer goods (FMCG).
    • Hands on experience of merchandising and promotional activities.
    • Be computer literate in MS Office packages.
    • Minimum experience of two years in managing, distributors, modern and traditional trade.
    • A clean valid driving license with a minimum of 1 year driving experience.
