Cyber Security Expert Job Requirements

• Understanding of computer and network forensics, system and network security, incident management, intrusion detection, vulnerability and patch management, log analysis, and related technologies.
• Incident response experience in a medium to large sized enterprise
• Experience interpreting and acting on cyber threat intelligence
• Strong analytical, data gathering and problem solving skills with experience analyzing network attacks.
• Superior analytical, interpersonal, writing, and verbal communications skills

Qualifications for the Cyber Security Expert Job

• Bachelor in Computer Science or information Technology or cyber security
• Knowledge in Information Security policies
• Mandatory experience in developing and administering an Information Security Program.
• Certification in IT Security will be added advantage.
• 6 years working in IT Security related environment.
• Firewall and intrusion detection/prevention protocols
• Secure coding practices, ethical hacking and threat modeling
• Network security architecture development and definition
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and fix security risks.
• Good team working skills to develop security solutions in collaboration with other information technology professionals.
• Knowledge of third party auditing and cloud risk assessment methodologies
