The ideal candidate(s) will ensure guests have an enjoyable dining experience by providing quality customer service. She/he will work in the front of the business taking orders, serving food & drinks, billing and removing dinnerware from the table in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
• Welcome and seating guests.
• Serve guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Ensure the guests are being attended to without delays.
• Settling & processing payments.
• Clear tables.
• Take the food and beverage orders and serve products, after setting table to guests.
• Perform tasks while maintaining high levels of hygiene i.e. personal & overall service area.
• Perform any relevant duties.
• Stock, remove, and reset dishes & silverware between courses & clean and reset tables.
Qualifications:
• Applicant should have some formal training in food and beverage Service.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a 5 star restaurant/cafe.
• Good oral and written communication skills (English).
• Applicant must be well conversant with continental cuisine.
• Must have good knowledge of food safety and hygiene.
• Very meticulous, honest with high integrity and rigorous.
• Excellent hygiene and a good team player.
• Willing to learn and very flexible.
