    Assistant Manager- Change Management

    Job summary:

    Responsible for the development and delivery of Business Transformation across the Department to ensure delivery of quality front line services and maximise customer satisfaction in the most cost-effective and efficient manner.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Coordinate development and implementation of the departmental Transformation Agenda.
    • Program and Portfolio Management and oversight for Projects at the departmental Level.
    • Change Management at the departmental level and liaison to the Corporate Change Management Function.
    • Communication and sensitization on Transformation at the departmental level.
    • Business Process Management for the department including enhancement, Reengineering and measurement of the performance of business processes.
    • Transformation Budget management including preparation of the departmental transformation budget, tracking expenditure and reporting on budget.
    • Documentation and proper management of records related to transformation at the departmental level.
    • Secretariat for assigned Transformation Project Board
    • Lead and coordinate innovation activities at the departmental
    • To work with Transformation Leadership Office to embed service transformation in the organisation, working to achieve a culture of continuous improvement.

    Academic and Professional qualifications

    • A Bachelor’s Degree in project management or related fields
    • Proven experience of project management eg. PRINCE II and effective change management.

    Relevant work experience required

    Minimum of one (1) year experience at a Manager level or 2 years as Assistant Manager

    Skills required

    • Experience leading business transformation and programme and project management in large complex private, public or voluntary sector organizations.
    • Evidence of successful delivery of large scale change programs that have realized savings and service improvements for the organization
    • Proven experience in using technology to improve business outcomes
    • Experience in employee engagement and influencing staff, senior managers, Members and stakeholders, to achieve organizational outcomes.
