Pastry Chef at Frank Management Consult Ltd

The ideal candidate will head the kitchen, design, organize, control and direct the work to ensure preparation and presentation pastries, cakes & sauces meet and surpass client expectation.

Responsibilities

• Create new pastry and dessert menus the outlet
• Conduct preparation, tastings &presentations of pastries, cakes & sauces
• Make recipes and maintain accurate costing of all pastries, cakes & sauces
• Inspect several times daily all food stores and refrigerated areas to ensure Health & Safety Standards are met
• Coordinate with the Outlet Manager and other kitchen staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness
• Plan the duty rosters & oversee the kitchen staff in the preparation and presentation in accordance with the menu guidelines
• Ensure training needs analysis of the pastry staff is carried out and trainings are designed and executed to meet the needs
• Assist in coordinating the preparation of the departmental annual budget

Qualifications

• Diploma in culinary studies; specialty in pastries
• Prior knowledge and experience in Pastry Kitchen
• Good in budgeting and costing
• Team Management skills
