    Bid Office Pursuit and Proposals Consultant

    Job Description & Summary

    • PwC is looking for a Senior Associate for our Pursuit & Proposals function, to help respond to Request for Proposals (RFPs) and coordinate the proposal development process.
    • This exciting role provides the opportunity to work with a diverse range of client teams to provide proposal support and guidance. A major focus of the role is to ensure that our proposals and presentations are best in class, persuasive, differentiated from the competition and that we always deliver the best of PwC to our clients on competitive opportunities.
    • This role requires communication and collaboration with a variety of internal stakeholders within PwC firms across East Market Area (EMA) i.e., Kenya, Tanzania, Mauritius, Rwanda, Uganda and Zambia, as the need arises and will be based in Nairobi, Kenya.
    • The ideal candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to work well with all levels of the organization, be detail-oriented, proficient in researching, writing and producing client-facing documentation in support of our range of services.

    Responsibilities

    • Analyze RFPs(Request for proposals), EOIs(Expression of Interest) and RFIs(Request for Information) to understand the client’s needs and objectives
    • Support proposal kickoff, prepare bid plans, outlines and compliance matrices, plan winning themes, value propositions, highlight strengths and differentiators
    • Write persuasively including executive summaries and other aspects of proposals as required
    • Review, organize and edit proposals to improve clarity, check for compliance with RFP requirements and evaluation criteria
    • Develop relationships with key stakeholders to ensure a coordinated and successful proposal process
    • Coordinate the proposal development process from start to finish and oversee production
    • Engage stakeholders to obtain necessary information and commitment for specific pursuits
    • Monitor the opportunities pipeline and circulate opportunities to the appropriate stakeholders
    • Maintain and improve library of reusable proposal components and templates
    • Participate in internal debriefs following the submission of proposals to identify areas of improvement

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or a related field
    • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
    • Excellent organizational skills, with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
    • A keen eye for detail and ability to follow up with proposal content contributors
    • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with effective communication and project management skills
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and SharePoint
    • Ability to work in a deadline-conscious, results-driven environment
    • Ability to manage your workload and unexpected changes in priorities and deadlines.
    • Ability to generate creative ideas and follow through on tasks.

    Preferred skills and Qualifications

    • Master’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field
    • Experience with Salesforce CRM
    • Experience in graphics design
    • APMP certification

    Minimum years experience required

    • 3-5 years of experience in proposal development and coordination
