Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop the company’s strategy for using technological resources, aligned with business goals
• Prepare businesses to react, adapt and evolve with resilience and success
• Create the right culture of technology and innovation to attract and retain outstanding talent
• Ensure the organization is in an ‘always future-ready technology mode
• Strong domain knowledge and business acumen to ensure the company’s technologies are used appropriately
• Communicate technology strategy to partners and investors
• Ensure technologies are used efficiently, profitably, and securely.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies, systems, and infrastructure for competitive advantage
• Understand customer domain and needs and the right technology and products to outperform customer requirements
• Translate highly complex technical concepts and ideas to a non-technical audience
• Ensure that technical teams have the right technology and tools to support business teams to succeed with customers
• Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency
• Build quality assurance and data protection processes
• Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance
• Manage global compliance across all payment platforms
• Manage all technology assets with the right teams to ensure the optimum return of investment using the right framework — including availability, quality, performance, capacity management, financial management, change management, risk management, incident and problem management, and license management  
• Build payments landscape, upgrade plan /roadmap to support business growth and innovation
• Proactively seek and use stakeholders’ feedback to implement improvements and adjustments to technology

Minimum Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in computing or a related field.
• A master's degree is a big plus
• 10+ years of proven experience as a CTO, CIO, Country IT Manager, Head of IT, or similar senior-level leadership role in the financial sector
• Financial acumen and cost tracking of technology business unit
• Knowledge of technological trends to build a strategy
• Strong understanding of budgets and business-planning
