Dealer (AMC)

Job Purpose:

Trading and execution of all trades for all asset classes in accordance with consistent with the prevailing Order Execution Policy (OEP).

Key responsibilities
1. Carry out trading and execution of all trades for all asset classes
2. Maintain and update all documentation related to dealing
3. Assist in carrying out technical analysis on stocks that are of investment interest to the fund management team
4. Provide independent technical analysis to assist in taking investment actions
5. Placing and lifting deposits for purposes of settlement of outstanding investment actions
6. Effective account management
7. Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
Key Performance Measures

Knowledge, experience and qualifications required
1. Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Economics or related field
2. 2-4 years experience in a similar position
3. CFA Level I and above
4. Technical/ Functional competencies
5. Knowledge of capital markets
6. Portfolio analysis
7. Excellent organisational and analytical skills
8. Report writing skills
