Food & Agriculture Business Analysts at Equity Bank Kenya

 Currently the Bank is seeking additional talent to serve in the role outlined below.

Reporting to the General Manager Food & Agriculture, the ideal candidate’s key duties and responsibilities will include: 

• •Conduct thorough analysis on Food & Agriculture credit requests and proposals
• Present Food & Agriculture recommendations & their business analysis to Credit   Risk committees
• Keep up to date with the Bank’s Lending Policy, whilst undertaking review of Food & Agriculture risk policy
• Periodic analysis of Food & Agriculture market patterns, economic changes, legislation and government policies
• Develop and continuously review Food & Agriculture Credit Templates
• Develop Food & Agriculture business models that support analysis of applications
• Develop and keep updated a Food & Agriculture environmental and social compliance policy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or any other relevant business-related fields
• At least 5 years of strong quantitative analysis experience, with a proof of expertise in analysis of F&A related businesses
• Ability to conduct thorough analysis of financial statements and assessment of credit requests, including new requests, refinancing and or on annual due diligence,
• Strong proficiency in MS Office and general computer use,
• Strong attention to detail and ability to notice discrepancies in data,
• Impeccable understanding of financial statements, ratios, and concepts
