Develop and execute a comprehensive product development strategy aligned with the bank's overall business objectives and market trends.
Identify new product opportunities and conduct market research to validate their potential.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, conduct market research, and drive product roadmap decisions.
Lead the end-to-end product development process, including ideation, conceptualization, design, testing, launch, training and ongoing management.
Implement robust product lifecycle management practices to maximize the value and performance of existing products.
Identify and establish strategic partnerships with fintech companies, technology providers, and other relevant organizations to enhance the bank's product offerings.
Drive a customer-centric approach by understanding customer needs, preferences, and behaviours through research and data analytics.
Leverage customer insights to develop and deliver personalized and seamless banking experiences through products.
Foster a digital first culture within the organization, promoting experimentation, prototyping, and continuous improvement.
Engage with senior management, department heads, and key stakeholders to gain support and alignment for product development initiatives.
Collaborate with internal teams, including technology, marketing, risk management, and compliance, to ensure seamless execution and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Develop and implement processes and controls to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory guidelines and requirements.
Other Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field from a recognized institution.
A master’s degree will be an added advantage.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in product development in the banking or financial services industry, with at least 3 years at senior level role.
Certification in Products development and Research will be an added advantage.
