    IPF Growth Champion

    Job Purpose;

    The Relationship Manager will support the business to achieve its goals and objectives as outlined in the strategy of the Sector, while ensuring full compliance to bank policy, business, and statutory regulations.

    He will champion, unlock, and ensure the growth of a quality Insurance Premium Finance (IPF) Portfolio under Asset Finance, within the various customer segments through liaison with the bank’s business partners and branches, in line with the bank’s CSF number 4.

    Job Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:

    As the IPG Growth Champion, he/she is charged with implementing policies and programs that support the Bank’s overall strategic direction in IPF growth. The roles will include;

    • Building new and maintaining existing good rapport with internal and external partners e.g, Equity Bancassurance Intermediary Ltd, Equity Life Assurance Company Ltd, Other empanelled Insurance Companies, Brokers, Agents, and business associates, to unlock leads and ensure flow of business to the bank, through the branches. 
    • Working on internally existing and other available customer data in liaison with the various business segments as defined by the bank, and branches, ensuring a holistic customer centric business relationship approach, to exploit and generate business to the bank.
    • Generate leads for the upper SME and Corporate businesses across the bank-defined economy sectors like Education, Health, Manufacturing, Energy, Transport & Logistics, etc.
    • Offering Support and mentorship to branches in customer engagement, appraisal and closure, while maintaining strong relationship management.
    • Maintaining existing relations with other relevant departments, to ensure optimal management of a quality IPF portfolio.
    • Carry out continues marketing intelligence on competition and providing feedback to the sector.
    • Ensuring SLAs are honoured and acceptable TAT levels observed for optimal customer experience.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of a Diploma Qualification in Insurance from a recognised institution,
    • At least 32 years of age,
    • Minimum 4 Years in an IPF Environment,
    • Minimum Of a Senior Officer Position currently,
    • Experience in similar role, Marketing, or Sales qualification will be an added advantage.

    Essential Knowledge

    • Has a good understanding of the local Insurance and IPF Market landscape.
    • He should exhibit an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity and resourcefulness.
    • Ability to mentor, guide and transfer knowledge to the team.
    • An understanding of the loan credit process will be an added advantage, though not mandatory.
