    Logistics and Admin Support

    Job description / Mission:

    • Support the other logistics team cover the complete ordering processes from ordering, order follow up and delivery to the respective customers in the assigned territories.
    • Support in local purchases for Nonsales related purchases.
    • Actively assist with Inventory Cycle Counts/Checks and reconciles any discrepancies.
    • Provide administrative support to HR department  Coordinate HR projects (events, meetings, training, medical insurance) and take minutes
    • Responsible for sustainability reporting as per SHEQ requirements
    • Carry out inspections of the facility to identify and resolve issues and ensure cleaning of the entire compound and offices (work close with the cleaning contractor).
    • Assist with day to day operations of  Admin and SHEQ functions as required to ensure Epiroc Eastern Africa comply with local Occupational Safety and Health requirements

    Experience requirements:

    • Clearing and customs knowledge.
    • Knowledge of logistics fundamentals.
    • Computer literate using Microsoft applications.

    Knowledge / Educational requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in  Supply Chain Management/Procurement.
    • Fluent English in both writing and speaking
    • Good in Microsoft Applications

    Personality requirements:

    • Self-motivated, result oriented, able to work under pressure.
    • Keen to detail quality, accuracy, deadlines.
    • Good communication skills and be a good team player.
    • Good administration and organizational skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and customer relations.
    • Is able to build strong & effective working relationships with customers and colleagues.
    • Ability to multitask.
    • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
