Role Overview
As a Marketing Manager you are responsible for designing and implementing sales and marketing strategies for sales growth and market expansion. In this position, you have a strategic leading role in both sales and marketing efforts toward business growth through winning new clients and retaining old ones. This includes management responsibilities for the sales staff, supervision of marketing campaigns, and coordination of sales and marketing with the objectives of the company.
Responsibilities
Enhance Revenue Growth
- Develop, establish, and enhance sales strategies to achieve business growth and revenue goals.
- Identify new market opportunities and customer segments to expand into.
- Set sales goals, track performance against these goals, and adjust strategy as needed to achieve or surpass targets.
- Key client relationships-ensure a very high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Improve Brand Awareness and Lead Generation
- Establish overall marketing strategies that promote brand awareness and result in leads.
- Manage the implementation of multi-channel marketing campaigns: digital, print, events, amongst others.
- Oversee the design of promotional materials, creation of content, and advertising.
- Collaborate with the digital marketing team to ensure fully optimized SEO, pay-per-click, and utilization of social media.
Enhance and optimize Sales Team Performance
- Offer leadership, coaching, and motivation to the sales and marketing teams to realize targets set before them.
- Conduct regular performance appraisals and constructive feedback.
- Organize training and development activities to enable the team members to be aware of the industry trends.
Intensify Marketing Campaigns
- Conduct market research that shall outline consumer trends, competitor activity, and demands of the market.
- Incorporate findings from market research into developing and adjusting sales and marketing strategies.
- Assess the positioning of competition and develop strategies focusing on achieving market share.
Reporting and Analytics
- Tracking, analysis, and reporting of sales and marketing metrics are shown to gain insight from strategic decisions.
- Present regular reports to the executive team on performance trends, market analysis, and projections.
