Migori County is a county in the former Nyanza Province of southwestern Kenya. It is located in western Kenya and borders Homa Bay County, Kisii County, Narok, Tanzania and Lake Victoria to the West. The county also borders Uganda via Migingo Island in Lake Victoria.

Implement the resolutions and policies of the Municipal Board.
Coordinate all municipal departments and staff for efficient service delivery.
Act as the chief administrative and accounting officer of the Municipality.
Prepare and implement municipal strategic plans, annual work plans and budgets.
Ensure prudent financial management in line with the Public Finance Management Act.
Promote public participation in municipal affairs in accordance with the Constitution and County Governments Act.
Ensure compliance with national and county legislation, regulations and standards.
Supervise, mentor and appraise municipal staff.
Manage municipal assets and resources.
Prepare periodic performance and financial reports to the Municipal Board and County Government.
Coordinate development planning, urban service delivery and infrastructure projects.
Foster partnerships with stakeholders, residents and investors
REQUIREMENTS
Be a Kenyan citizen;
Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Urban Management, Public Administration, Business Management or any other relevant Degree from a university recognized in Kenya
Possession of a relevant Master's Degree would be an added advantage
Has proven experience of not less than Ten (10) years in administration or management either in the public or private sector five (5) of which should be in senior Management .
Should have attended a senior management course lasting not less than four (4) weeks at Kenya school of Government;
Must be computer literate in Microsoft package from a recognized institution
Be ordinary resident or have a permanent dwelling within Awendo or Rongo Sub Counties
