    People’s Vaccine Intern

    JOB PURPOSE:

    The People Vaccine work has a series of key activities that needs coordination, planning and research support.

    The post holder would be supporting and coordinating different People’s Vaccine activities.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (Technical, Leadership, People and Resource management)

    1. Supporting the Coordinator of the People’s Vaccine Alliance in organising and maintaining digital tools and production of content for social media.
    2. Supporting the engagement of People’s Vaccine celebrities and influential people, including writing briefs and pitches.
    3. Support in planning and organising regular calls for the Peoples Vaccine and performing administrative tasks.
    4. Work with the Oxfam’s People’s Vaccine team and the Peoples Vaccine Alliance to identify and maintain key external relationships.
    5. Work with others to help co–ordinate the work of relevant People’s Vaccine Alliance sub–teams.

      • Ability to lead projects in a clear and constructive way that inspires people to deliver
    • Communication
      •  Ability to liaise with a wide range of people, both internally and externally and at many levels, with credibility, tact and diplomacy
      • Ability to get ideas across in a compelling and clear way
      • Fluent spoken and written English
      • Demonstrable affinity with the aims and objectives of the Oxfam Confederation
      • Ability to think and work in a multi–disciplinary way
      • Ability to operate effectively in a network environment
        Sensitivity to cultural differences and gender issues, as well as the commitment to equal opportunities.

    Desirable

    • Some basic design skills and knowledge of Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator
