Production Manager at Ramco Group

We are looking for a dedicated and technically strong Production Manager with deep expertise in flexographic and gravure printing processes. The ideal candidate will be systems- and process-driven, capable of implementing policies, SOPs, and performance systems to optimize operations. A natural leader, they will foster a culture of accountability, cleanliness, and safety, ensuring the highest standards of operational excellence and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations across printing, lamination, slitting, and pouching, with a hands-on approach.
• Ensure consistent product quality through technical excellence in flexo and gravure printing.
• Develop, implement, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and production systems.
• Drive cleanliness, hygiene, and health & safety protocols, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
• Monitor and manage KPIs such as OEE, waste levels, downtime, and productivity; take swift corrective actions.
• Build and sustain a culture of discipline, responsibility, and continuous improvement on the shop floor.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, and HR to achieve business goals.
• Coach and mentor supervisors and operators, enhancing team skills and accountability.
• Lead root cause analysis and troubleshooting of equipment and process-related issues.
• Plan and manage manpower, production scheduling, and resource allocation for maximum efficiency.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 10+ years of experience in a flexible packaging production environment.
• Proven technical expertise in flexographic and gravure printing is mandatory.
• Deep understanding of equipment, inks, substrates, and processes in flexible packaging.
• Strong track record of building and sustaining clean and safe shop floor environments.
• Excellent problem-solving, people management, and leadership capabilities.
• Highly organized with a process-first mindset; experience in implementing lean manufacturing, or similar methodologies is a plus.
• Proficient in using production monitoring tools, reporting systems, and ERP platforms.
• Strong communication skills in English; local language proficiency is a bonus.
• Qualification in Engineering, Printing Technology, or Industrial Management is preferred.
