Professional Design Consultant at RefuSHE

• To develop a professionally designed and visually compelling layout of RefuSHE’s Strategic Plan 2025–2028 that aligns with the organization's brand identity, communicates the strategy clearly, and enhances its use by diverse stakeholders including donors, partners, and community members.

Objectives:

• To create a visually engaging design layout for the strategic plan document.
• To ensure a strong visual hierarchy, readability, and formatting across all sections of the document.
• To align the final document with RefuSHE’s existing brand guidelines and core values.
• To deliver both print-ready and web-optimized versions of the strategy.

Scope of Work:

The consultant will,

• Review the full text of the Draft RefuSHE Strategic Plan 2025–2028.
• Develop a design concept (2–3 sample pages) for review and approval.
• Incorporate appropriate infographics, icons, illustrations, callouts, and branding elements.
• Integrate photos, charts, theory of change, and other visuals (to be provided by RefuSHE).
• Format the entire document in InDesign or other professional publishing tools.
• Ensure accessibility for digital use (PDF with clickable links, headers, alt text, etc.).
• Deliver editable source files and final designed outputs (PDF for print and digital).
• Work closely with the RefuSHE team for feedback, iteration, and final approval.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in graphic design and layout of strategic plans, reports, or publications for NGOs, INGOs, or international organizations.
• Strong portfolio of past similar assignments (minimum 3 examples).
• Excellent command of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) or equivalent tools.
• Ability to translate complex strategic content into clean, intuitive visuals.
• Knowledge of brand application, typography, and design for both digital and print media.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and openness to feedback.
