Job Summary:

• Our client is a Start-up in the ISP space and they are looking to hire a Project Manager who will ensure successful management and execution of all assigned projects. You will work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, on-time, and within-budget projects that align with our company’s objectives and contribute to our continued growth in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Identify and allocate resources required for project execution.
• Lead project teams, ensuring they work cohesively towards project goals.
• Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and take proactive measures to keep projects on track.
• Identify and address potential risks and issues that may affect project success.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and industry best practices.
• Maintain open and effective communication with internal teams, including developers, engineers, and other departments.
• Provide regular project updates to department heads.
• Foster collaboration and a positive working environment among project team members.
• Allocate and manage resources efficiently to meet project demands.
• Supervise project team members, offering guidance and support as needed.
• Promote skill development and growth among team members.
• Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and optimize project finances.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, schedules, status reports, and meeting minutes.
• Prepare post-project reports and conduct project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
• Any other duties as requested by management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Previous experience as a Project Manager in the ISP industry is essential.
• Knowledge of ISP network infrastructure and technologies.
• A strong project management skill with certification is a plus.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards related to ISPs in Kenya.
