Sales Operations Manager – Banking/Insurance at Africa Management Solutions Limited (AMSOL)

Our client in the banking and insurance sector is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Sales Operations Manager to lead day-to-day sales performance through strong leadership, coaching, accountability, and disciplined execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Own delivery of team sales targets through strong leadership and performance management.
• Drive accountability and strengthen sales execution across the team.
• Build a resilient, motivated, high-performing sales culture that consistently delivers results.
• Set clear goals, conduct regular performance reviews, and develop team capability.
• Establish daily operating rhythms, huddles, pipeline reviews, and follow-up discipline.
• Track, analyse, and report sales performance while translating strategy into daily action.
• Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team daily, setting the energy and performance standard.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Degree in Business, Sales & Marketing, Commerce, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in sales leadership, such as Sales Manager, Regional/Area Sales Manager, Branch Manager, Agency Manager, Unit Manager, or equivalent.
• Banking or Insurance industry experience is strongly encouraged.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, motivate, and develop high-performing sales teams.
• Demonstrated success in driving accountability, improving sales execution, and building resilient teams.
• Strong leadership and performance management skills.
