Solar Engineer at Nationwide Electrical Industries Ltd

• The role holder is in charge of implementing the solar division strategies which shall include and not limited to; Design, Installation, testing and commissioning of solar systems in clients’ sites. He/she shall ensure that projects are implemented and completed within the specified timelines and within the required customer and technical specifications.

Role Responsibilities

• Design of solar systems
• Generate drawings in AutoCAD
• Prepare bill of materials
• Prepare requisitions
• Prepare plans for site installation
• Supervise installations
• Testing and commissioning of solar systems
• After sales support (Onsite and offsite)
• Train technicians on site installations and aftersales services.
• Conduct site surveys
• Work closely with customers throughout the design, implementation and post implementation cycle
• Providing of quality service and support to all clients from site survey, delivery, technical advice, and after-sales service.
• Carrying out technical service visits and provision of technical support as required.
• Maintain workplace safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a risk-free work environment
• QMS, EMS and OHSMS implementation.

Qualifications & Skills

• Able to Develop one-line and three-line electrical diagrams using AutoCAD
• Skills in Solar PV systems design
• Skills in Solar PV systems installations
• Skills in Solar PV systems testing and commissioning
• Electrical circuit knowledge
• Experience in hands-on testing and troubleshooting on Solar systems
• Adequate knowledge / understanding on Wiring & PCB level Testing,
• Minimum 3 years experience in similar position
• Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
• Solar T3 License
