Systems Analyst at Summit Recruitment and Search

Key Responsibilities

Business Requirements Analysis:

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements for the ERP system.
• Conduct interviews, workshops, and meetings to understand current processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and system design documentation.
• Identify risks, issues, and potential impacts on business operations.
• Workflow Design and Documentation.
• Analyze existing workflows and identify opportunities for optimization and automation.
• Design new workflows that align with the capabilities of the ERP system.
• Document workflows, process diagrams, and user stories to effectively communicate system requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and obtain necessary approvals.
• Technical Builds, Configuration, and Support.
• Coordinate with technical teams to manage system builds and configurations.
• Oversee the implementation and customization of the ERP system to meet business requirements.
• Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution during the implementation phase.
• Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancements to the ERP system post-implementation.
• Collaborate with end-users and IT support to address user inquiries, system issues, and change requests

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3+ years experience as a Systems Analyst or similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Proficiency in system analysis tools, such as data flow diagrams, process models, and requirement gathering techniques.
• Experience in performing system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of database management systems (DBMS) and SQL a plus.
• Knowledge of computer systems and programming languages a plus.
