Transport Manager at Bridge Talent Management

Job Summary:

Manage Fleet activities related to dispatching, routing, sourcing, pricing and tracking for optimal return on investment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the design, development, organization, implementation and management of transport solutions
• Coordinate and control the order cycle and associated information systems
• Ascertain industry/logistics best practices to identify new and/or unique programs and drive customer satisfaction
• Work in conjunction with various parties such as business development, field support and customer service to handle complaints and ensure support plans are in place to maintain long-term customer relationships.
• Track, analyze and communicate key performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with statutory & Company rules and regulations.
• Best buy of transport rates for deliveriesPrepare, monitor and control the operational budget.
• Achieve the budgeted CGM
• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards, rules, government regulations and company policies and procedure
• Manage Control Tower operations on site (resources,processes and deliverables)
• Coordinate turnaround time (TAT) on site across all areas and coordinate with operations management to drive TAT improvement
• Drive the design,development,organization,implementation and management of yard management solutions
• Manage equipment on site(including forklift,trucks, cages,ladders,tables) set up maintenance plan for equipment and ensure compliance with it
• Manage equipment providers through KPI’s and regular review meetings on performance
• Ensure timely and accurate communication of daily flash reports

Requirements

Education Qualification:

• Business Degree
• Diploma in Logistics and Distribution

Experience:

• 5 years in  Transport and supply chain Management
