Requirements for Appointment

• Bachelor of Education degree in any of the following specializations: Business Administration, Applied Science, Technology, or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.
• OR
• Bachelors’ degree in any of the following: Medical laboratory, Pharmacy, Nutrition Dietetics, General Agriculture, Agriculture Engineering, Agronomy, Building and Civil Engineering, Entrepreneurship, Petroleum, Geophysical/Sciences, Performing Arts, Counselling Psychology, Survey, Marine Engineering, Engineering, Architecture, m Communication, Mechatronics, Education, Information and Communication Technology, Textiles/Clothing Technology, Chemical Engineering, Catering or Hospitality Management, Business Studies/Administration, Applied Science, or equivalent qualification

Duties and Responsibilities

• Train in areas of specialization in accordance with the syllabus;
• Prepare teaching/learning materials and schemes of work;
• Set and mark examination/assignments;
• Carry out research work under the guidance and supervision of a senior trainer;
• Supervise trainees’ projects and practical work
• Plan, monitor and evaluate performance of staff against the set targets.
