    Business Growth & Development Manager - Nyeri

    Job Description

    Working closely with the Regional Business Growth & Development Manager and Senior Management, manages the branch and offers leadership to staff in formulation and implementation of business growth and development strategies at branch level. The job holder is expected to aggressively drive the branch growth and profitability targets by identifying, developing and maintaining profitable relationships with customers

    • Lead business growth and development of the branch, agencies and other alternative service outlets attached to the branch
    • Manage and lead the branch team in achieving/ surpassing the set business targets
    • Provide superior level of customer relationship management and promote the sales and service culture through coaching, guidance and staff motivation;
    • Drive sales of all products and services at branch level through offering leadership and motivation to the sales team, sales drives , liaison with key relationships among others ;
    • Manage and offer leadership to the branch team.
    • Development of a high performing team at branch level through training , mentorship, and special assignments

    Senior Manager, Credit Analysis

    Job Description

    • Working closely with the Head of Credit he /she will ensure compliance with internal credit policies & procedures and facilitate prudent management of credit risks while ensuring compliance with the CBK prudential guidelines. He /she will also ensure that all Credit proposals from the branches are reviewed for credit risks in accordance with internal policies and procedures, CBK prudential guidelines and best practice .He /she shall safeguard the institution against loss by ensuring accuracy, completeness and credit worthiness of credit proposals, recommend appropriate risk mitigation mechanisms such as proper securities and their perfection, relevant sanction conditions and post disbursement follow ups.
    • To ensure that Credit requests are analyzed against all the canons of lending (Character, Capacity , Conditions  , Capital , and Collateral  ) as a basis for making approval / decline recommendations Countercheck and approve all SME applications analyzed by Micro lending analysts and ensure they are processed within the acceptable timelines.
    • To ensure that Sanction sheets and offer letters are prepared based on 1 above and ensure accuracy , completeness and neatness of the same for further approval by relevant Head office  Credit Committees
    • Prepare draft board papers for facilities requiring approval by the Risk Management Committee of the board  for further review by management at Credit Administration departments Follow up  with the branches to ensure fulfillment of ALL sanction conditions and other covenants prior disbursement of the facilities
    • Submission of securities to security perfection officer within 12 hours of receipt from branches for further advise to legal department
    • Verify Compliance to canons of consumer lending through inspection of ability to pay, fulfillment of consumer MOU requirements and proper documentation to ensure credit risk is adequately mitigated. Review loan security margins as per the existing market trends and advice the management on any necessary reviews. Ensure there is a clear credit risk policy in place outlining the key mitigation processes.
    • Recommend policy reviews  for customer service and risk  management improvement based on experiences and industry trends
    • Do any other duties that may be assigned by the Management.

    Information Centre Care Agent

    Job Description

    The Information Centre Care Agent is responsible for managing all incoming calls to the Old Mutual Medical emergency hotlines

    KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Answer incoming telephone calls into the Call Center in a professional manner at all times
    • Working with providers and the UAP Case management team to manage the admission and discharge process of UAP Members
    • Managing requests for services from providers, intermediaries and clients, providing information on the UAP provider network, available benefits per scheme policy and services and other routine information
    • Processing pre-authorization requests for outpatient services
    • Provides health information to customers via UAP approved resources
    • Completes accurate and timely documentation of all services provided to callers
    • Escalate / liaise with claims/ care teams on any issues which require further consultation  
    • In conjunction with Smart applications resolve card issues raised at the point of service.
    • Attends all required training sessions and meetings.
    • Normal information center duties. E.g. carrying out customer surveys, social media and email management.
    • Performs all other tasks as assigned by the Information Center Manager, Case Management Supervisor, Medical Case Management Manager and/or Medical Claims Manager.

    SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

    Competences

    • Basic level of proficiency with Windows based applications such as MS Office, Excel, Word
    • Proficient ability to analyse data and develop recommendations
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Maintains a professional/customer service focus at all times.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Availability to work any both day and night shifts
    • 1+ years in Patient Customer Service Experience Preferred
    • 1+ years Call Center experience Preferred
    • 6+ months professional experience in an office setting using the telephone and computer as primary instruments to perform the job duties
    • Knowledge of medical terminology/Coding (ICD10)
    • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing
    • Experience working in the Insurance industry preferred
    • ACII or Other Insurance Certification Preferred

    Senior Manager, Credit Relationship

    Job Description

    • Working closely with the Head of Credit, he/she will ensure all retail loan applications are verified with the employers to confirm the authenticity and ability, retail MOU reviews, relationship and PAR management.
    • Ensure all retail loan applications are verified with the employers to confirm the authenticity and ability.
    • Ensure that deduction data advice forms are submitted to the relevant employers and that all loans are fully recovered in order to maintain a quality portfolio.
    • Ensure that payment schedules are collected from relevant employers in time to facilitate loan recovery for all disbursed loans.
    • Ensure that reconciliation of payments received and the expected installments is up to date for all retail loans.
    • Ensure that all posting schedules for payments have been received and handed over to Credit MIS for processing. Ensure that all retail relations are well maintained for smooth process flow.
    • Review all existing retail relationships and making recommendations to the management to aid quality retail lending.
    • Follow up with the branches to ensure fulfillment of ALL Retail MOU sanction conditions and other covenants prior to disbursement of the facilities.
    • Recommend policy reviews for customer service and risk management improvement based on experiences and industry trends.
    • Ensure that the quality of retail loan book is maintained within set targets.
    • Prepare periodic reports on performance of the retail loan book.
    • Ensure the team cohesively works to deliver expected objectives.
    • Do any other duties that may be assigned by the Management.
