    Nairobi Corporate Relationship Manager – Banking

    JOB PURPOSE STATEMENT / POSITION OBJECTIVE

    • The role involves acquiring and managing corporate clients by building trusted relationships, advising on financial needs, recommending suitable banking solutions, ensuring compliance while onboarding clients in line with the Bank’s policies and procedures, providing ongoing account servicing, and identifying opportunities to expand banking services while handling administrative support for client accounts.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • On-boarding of clients in accordance with established policies and procedures.
    • Business development by increasing earnings for corporate banking, facility uptake as well as utilization of bank products through cross-selling.
    • Advising clients on their personal financial needs and objectives by analyzing their financial needs and objectives.
    • Manage client relations in terms of growth and retentions.
    • Resolve customer complaints quickly and effectively.
    • Collect vital data relevant to the Bank’s account opening requirements from new customers.
    • Drafting corporate credit proposals and making recommendations to the credit committee.
    • Follow up on credit proposals, letter of offer, excess requests, notification of excesses and securities with Credit department.
    • Monitor relationships and attend to all queries relating to relationship accounts.
    • Contribute to various initiatives and any other tasks as assigned by senior management team.
    • Maintain quality corporate asset and liability books by ensuring timely collection on arrears and excesses.
    • Actively support deposit mobilization initiatives.
    • Any other duties that may be assigned by immediate supervisor from time to time.

    EXPERIENCE

    • Over 10 years of experience as a Corporate Relationship Manager within the banking sector.
    • Trade Finance experience is Mandatory
    • Well-versed in the Nairobi business environment, with strong capability in managing corporate portfolios, credit relationships, and trade finance transactions.
    • Leadership or management training will be an advantage.

    ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s Degree in business related field from a recognized university namely: Banking & Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration / Management.
    • Master’s Degree will be added advantage.

    Role Purpose

    • The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will act as a strategic and operational partner to the Management team at our client’s plant, driving people strategies that enable productivity, quality, safety, and cost efficiency. The role focuses on building a skilled, compliant, and high-performing workforce aligned with the company’s growth ambitions in the paints and coatings industry.

    Key Responsibilities

    Strategic HR Business Partnering

    • Collaborate with Country Head and functional leaders to align HR initiatives with production and business goals
    • Translate organizational HR strategy into plant-level execution plans
    • Drive workforce productivity, cost optimization, and operational efficiency initiatives
    • Support change management initiatives (automation, process improvements, expansion projects)

    Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

    • Plan and manage manpower requirements (permanent and contract workforce)
    • Manage onboarding programs to accelerate operational readiness
    • Implement induction programs for new hires
    • Lead end-to-end recruitment for plant roles (operators, technicians, quality, maintenance etc.)

    Qualifications & Experience

    • MBA / PGDM in Human Resources

    • Strong exposure to HR operations, talent management, and compliance
