The Role

Reporting to the General Manager MIB, the successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of revenue growth and volume targets Development by promoting and selling Majani Insurance Brokers products in designated/identified market segments in order to ensure revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Reviewing, and formulating policies, strategies, and plans to achieve the set business development and sales targets for the company.
• Maximizing sales revenue and meeting corporate objectives.
• Driving sales activities on major accounts and negotiate sales prices and discounts.

Qualifications/Skills/Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Commerce, Business Management, Insurance, or a related field from a recognized Institution
• A master’s degree in Marketing, Commerce, Business Management, Insurance, or a related field from a recognized Institution will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of ten (10) years post qualification experience, Five (5) years being in Insurance broking, Medical Insurance Provider (MIP), and Reinsurance brokerage.
• Postgraduate Diploma in Insurance.
• Must be a member of ACII or AIIK or related professional body
• Ability to handle departmental budgets, resources, processes, projects, and relationships.

The Role

Reporting to the General Manager KTPC, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the implementation of the KTPC and RPCs functions and overseeing their operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Participating in the formulation and review of the company’s strategic plan as well as policies.

The Role

Reporting to the Group Company Secretary successful candidate will be responsible for the effective and efficient management of the Legal & Regulatory department, provision of legal advisory services and ensuring effective management of legal and contractual risks.

Key Responsibilities

• Reviewing and advising management on legal implications of internal policies and procedures.
• Reviewing government and other relevant regulations that will impact on the operations of KTDA [H], its subsidiaries and managed factory companies and advice on the necessary actions to ensure compliance.
• Ensuring regulatory compliance by formulating compliance check-lists to be used for the purpose of ensuring that all information required is provided accordingly.
• Monitoring progress of outstanding litigation and liaising with and managing of external lawyers.
• Overseeing legal research as required and registering legal documents with relevant registries.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Enforcing compliance with the legal framework, policies, and procedures relating to all tax functions.
• Responsible for tax risk management across the business
• Ensuring timely and correct filing of all tax returns for PAYE, VAT, Corporation tax, Withholding taxes, Excise Duty, and Kenya Bureau of Standards Levy.
• Overseeing Revenue Authority Audits and tax disputes.
• Responsible for effective partnership with the Kenya Government Agency responsible for tax matters.
