    Account Assistant

    • You will ensure ITF's compliance with financial accounting regulations while improving existing practices.

    Responsibilities include:


    • Developing the appropriate budget for the organization and ensuring that the budget is followed accurately.

    Financial Data Collection:

    You are responsible for ITF’s compliance with accounting regulations. You are required to uphold accounting standards. At the same time, you are expected to improve existing practices by:

    • Overseeing the incorporation of new accounting software to streamline financial data collection.
    • Ensure there is a secure backup of all financial data.

    Staff Information:

    You are also responsible for maintaining high accounting practices throughout the ITF volunteer/staff base. This means:

    • Ensure all staff members understand both the intended value of accounting systems and how to use them. This will require you to work with all staff members, especially the operations Director to ensure that orientation materials reflect the current system.
    • Set clear office protocol regarding accounting systems.


    • At least be a second-year bachelor student in related fields.
    • Good organizational skills, including ability to work within tight deadlines.
    • excellent communication skills orally and in writing, interpersonal and presentation skills, including the ability to work with diverse individuals.
    • Ability to maintain an established work schedule, work flexibly and as part of a team.
    • Willingness and capacity to volunteer.
    • Passion and commitment towards youth development.

    International Relations - Head of Department

    This position requires the spearheading of the ITF international expansion dubbed “the ITF Dream Challenge” by:

    • Opening new branches in East Africa, West Africa and the rest of the world and initiating international marketing, communications and Fund-raising initiatives.
    • Directing the International Office branches including projects planning, implementation, monitoring & evaluation and oversight of budgets.
    • Facilitating, coordinating and acting as a primary point-of-contact for all international affairs including: (i) Maintaining the relationship with current international partners and (ii) Establishing new relationships with international organizations and states/Governments.
    • Identifying and preparing grant proposals and or other fundraising strategies for international projects/offices.
    • Hiring, training/mentoring, supervising, and evaluating international offices volunteer staff.
    • Receiving and mentoring international volunteers, ensuring they are well settled and facilitate their quick adjustment to their new environment.
    • Organizing and evaluating international programs including conferences, events and seminars as well as representing ITF
    • Other responsibilities may be assigned.


    • Hold at least a bachelor’s degree in related fields such as International Relations, Communications, marketing etc.
    • Possess knowledge in current issues and best practices relating to international youth development.
    • Ability to come up with creative ideas for communication and promotional materials, fundraising, identify potential opportunities for raising funds and write grant proposals,
    • Have excellent communication skills both orally and in writing (minimally in English), excellent interpersonal and presentation skills and the ability to work with individuals from different cultures,
    • Possess basic computer skills including graphic communication and social media management,
    • Ability to maintain an established work schedule, with or without flexibility,
    • Strong organizational and management skills- ability to multi-task and prioritize,
