    Director, Resource Allocation

    What You'll Do for Us:

    • Decide where to invest resources by working hand-in-hand with all functions to ensure capital and operating spend are aligned with strategic priorities and value creation objectives.
    • Assess and track returns on investment (ROI and ROIC), ensuring resources are continuously reallocated toward initiatives with the highest impact and that underperforming investments are course-corrected in a timely manner.
    • Connect across all functions to enable a dynamic, forward-looking view of business needs and resource availability, supporting agile decision-making as priorities evolve.
    • Lead a robust resource governance model in close partnership with Senior Management, providing clear decision rights, transparency, and accountability on resource allocation choices.
    • Embed a strong financial and value-creation culture across the organization, educating teams on financial discipline, capital efficiency, and ROIC-driven decision-making.
    • Ensure full compliance with Africa OU requirements, aligning resource allocation processes with regional policies, standards, and governance frameworks.
    • Partner closely with the Finance Hub to ensure corporate systems and tools are fully deployed, adopted, and leveraged across Africa OU, maximizing their potential to support robust planning, resource allocation, and performance management.

    Requirements & Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Finance, FP&A, Strategy & Insights, or Performance Management.
    • Demonstrated ability to execute complex initiatives end-to-end, ensuring high-quality delivery, clear workflows, and timely outcomes.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to prepare clear, structured materials and work effectively as a team player across functions
    • Solid project management capabilities, with experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and contributing directly to project execution.
    • Proven experience in data digitalization, automation, and performance reporting, with a strong focus on data quality and usability.
    • Good understanding of System economics, including financial interactions with bottlers and key partners.

    Control and Automation Specialist

    Key Purpose Statement

    • The primary role of the Control and Automation Specialist is to maintain the plant and associated devices to original installed state. In doing so, the specialist must ensure that plant availability and product quality is maintained at optimal cost; without sacrificing standards. He or she will also be required to provide continuous improvement initiatives that would enable more cost-effective manufacturing in a highly competitive market. The role also entails the need to provide coaching within his or her field of expertise to develop the skills of other technical peers.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities    
    Key Outputs and Accountabilities include, but not limited to:

    Technical Operational Support:

    • Provide expert support during operations and problem-solving, including shift-based and on-call assistance.
    • Guide and mentor shift teams on machine operation, fault-finding, and response to failures.
    • Planned and Routine

    Maintenance:

    • Contribute to maintenance planning, execution, and optimization, including scheduling and feedback on completed tasks.
    • Ensure integrity and alignment of maintenance systems with regional asset care strategies and standards.
    • Perform routine maintenance tasks as per the schedule and address issues using problem-solving techniques.
    • Monitor conditions and communicate necessary updates to the maintenance planner.

    Running Repairs:

    • Conduct and support running repairs on equipment, including problem assessment and external specialist coordination.
    • Complete administration and ensure repair tasks are planned if not resolved immediately.

    Problem Solving:

    • Utilize appropriate problem-solving methods and resources, assisting team members and escalating issues when necessary.
    • Engage in situational and systemic problem-solving as a functional expert.
    • Housekeeping and Safety:
    • Adhere to safety practices, identify unsafe practices, and conduct risk assessments.
    • Apply 5S principles and follow CCBA policies during housekeeping and work execution.
    • Support NPD Implementation and Trials:
    • Assist with NPD trials, ensuring asset readiness and adherence to procedures.
    • Document changes and updates according to Engineering Change Management processes.
    • Training and Development:
    • Train and coach PA’s and Operators on asset care and autonomous maintenance practices.
    • Develop and update operational and technical standards and work instructions.

    Skills, Experience & Education    

    Education & Experience:

    • Degree in Mechatronics Engineering (preferred)/ Control & Instrumentation/ Electrical & Electronics.
    • At least 3-5 years of work experience in Controls, Instrumentation and Automation
    • Experience in FMCG an added advantage

    Skills:

    • PLC programming software training
    • Problem solving
    • Training, Development & Coaching for Technical Teams.
    • Utilizes coaching skills to mentor and develop team members in operational and technical practices.
    • Demonstrates strong diagnostic ability to effectively identify and resolve equipment issues.
    • Works collaboratively and supports team objectives to achieve shared goals.
    • Drives results with a focus on execution and adherence to technical standards.
    • Maintains resilience and energy in high-pressure situations, adapting to challenges and changes.
    • HMI development / programming software training.
    • PC literacy essential - Microsoft packages.
    • Knowledge of ERP (D365).

    Team Leader Cold Drink Equipment(CDE)

    Key Purpose Statement

    • The key purpose of the Team Leader, Cold Drink Equipment (CDE) is to oversee daily activities, ensure efficient maintenance and placement of equipment, and lead the team to achieve operational goals and high performance

    Key Duties & Responsibilities    
    Key Outputs and Accountabilities include, but not limited to:

    Managed cooler maintenance 

    • Managed the execution of the Maintenance and Repairs.
    • Plan for regular maintenance of coolers to ensure high reliability.
    • Coolers are maintained as per schedule
    • Ensure good housekeeping of the workshop for cleanliness and a safe working environment.                             
    • Assist Cooler Mechanics with breakdown repairs and troubleshooting of faults
    • Ensure all equipment is operated at its optimum

    Operational requirements

    • Maintain customer service excellence.
    • Monitor the process of tool management.
    • Maintained safety, health and environmental standards.
    • Achieved quality standards.
    • Set goals and drive team performance.
    • Provide leadership, support and guidance to the team.

    Skills, Experience & Education    

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering with demonstrated specialization in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning engineering.

    Experience

    • A Minimum of 5 years of experience as a technician working cold drink equipment or coolers in a bottling or manufacturing environment.
    • A Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing teams.
    • 1 year - accident-free driving experience with a valid license.

    Skills: 

    • Be able to bring own views across clearly without damaging the relationship with the other party. Choose an appropriate stand in order to meet targets and best practice and encourage team members to be more productive.
    • To analyse the relationships between events, circumstances and forces beyond the obvious and draws insightful conclusions, at a micro and macro level. Demonstrate the understanding of the inter-relationships between systems and processes and consolidate information into a coherent whole.
