    Sales & Marketing (Construction)

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Promote and sell a wide range of construction materials, including cement, steel, and other hardware products.
    • Market commercial mall facilities and services in close coordination with the internal marketing team.
    • Identify new business opportunities and proactively maintain professional relationships with existing clients.
    • Commit to achieving and exceeding assigned monthly and annual sales targets.
    • Conduct regular site visits, facilitate client meetings, and deliver professional product presentations.
    • Prepare accurate quotations, negotiate pricing effectively, and manage the process to successfully close deals.
    • Coordinate with transport and accounts teams to ensure timely product deliveries and payment processing.
    • Maintain accurate sales records and generate detailed reports using company systems, with SAP experience as an advantage
    • Monitor market trends, track competitor activities, and gather customer feedback to improve sales strategies.
    • Ensure the timely collection of payments and manage outstanding customer accounts.
    • Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor or management.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Experience: 3-4 years in construction materials (specifically steel, cement, or hardware; excludes tiles, paints, or sanitary ware).
    • Industry Focus: Deep knowledge and an established network within the steel and cement sectors. .
    • Traits: Dynamic, high-energy, and proactive approach to field sales.
    • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP experience is a significant bonus.
    • Languages: Full fluency in English and Kiswahili.
    • Core Skills: Strong negotiation, relationship management, and lead pipeline tracking.
    • Mindset: Results-oriented and self-driven to meet aggressive targets with minimal supervision.

    Receptionist

    Responsibilities

    • Greet, welcome, and assist visitors and clients in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Answer incoming calls, handle general inquiries, and route phone calls to the appropriate team members.
    • Manage email correspondence, outgoing mail, and incoming document deliveries.
    • Coordinate meeting room schedules, set up meeting spaces, and support visitor hospitality.
    • Maintain organized physical and digital filing systems, office records, and document registries.
    • Assist with customer follow-ups and support administrative teams with daily office tasks.

    Requirements

    • Previous experience in a receptionist, front- office, or customer-facing administrative role.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong phone etiquette.
    • Professional, confident, and warm personality with strong interpersonal skills.
    • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet navigation.
    • Strong organizational, multitasking, time management, and document-handling skills.
    • High level of initiative, reliability, and willingness to assist across general administrative tasks.

    Legal Officer

    Responsibilities

    • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial leases, tenancy agreements, supplier contracts, and legal documentation.
    • Handle tenant management, lease enforcement, breach notices, and demand letter preparations.
    • Drive debt recovery strategies, manage persistent default cases, and oversee enforcement proceedings.
    • Coordinate external advocates, auctioneers, process servers, and court litigation matters.
    • Track and monitor all ongoing court cases, arbitrations, and legal disputes involving the company.
    • Ensure regulatory compliance, proper licensing, and statutory risk management across operations.
    • Advise management on legal risks, property law, and commercial dispute resolution strategies.

    Requirements

    • Admission as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with a valid practicing certificate.
    • Minimum 4 years of relevant post- qualification legal experience.
    • Direct experience working with commercial landlords, property management firms, or heavy commercial debtor portfolios.
    • Strong background in commercial tenant management, lease enforcement, and debt collection.
    • Demonstrated expertise in contract drafting, demand letter preparation, and litigation management.
    • Excellent negotiation, analytical, communication, and case-tracking skills.

    Head of Credit Control

    Responsibilities

    • Aggressively follow up on overdue accounts, enforce payment terms, and escalate persistent defaulters promptly.
    • Evaluate customer creditworthiness, set appropriate credit limits, and enforce risk mitigation policies.
    • Oversee customer account reconciliations, resolve billing disputes, and ensure accurate ledgers.
    • Manage, mentor, and track the performance of the credit control team to achieve recovery targets.
    • Prepare weekly and monthly aging reports, cash-flow projections, and risk assessments for senior management.
    • Maintain and strengthen internal credit policies to minimize bad debts and improve cash collection cycles.

    Requirements

    • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • CPA qualification is a strong advantage.
    • 5-6 years of proven experience in credit control, with demonstrated supervisory or management background.
    • Proactive, assertive, and aggressive in debt recovery- not timid. Strong proficiency in account reconciliation, credit risk assessment, and financial systems/ERP software.
    • Excellent negotiation, team management, decision- making, and reporting skills.
