    Credit Controller

    Job Summary: Our client is a Steel engineering solutions provider and wishes to recruit for the position of credit controller; reporting to the Finance Director

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Invoice Preparation, Submission and follow up.
    • Monitoring debtor balances to ensure a reduction in debtor balances
    • Follow up on overdue invoices by telephone, email & letter within agreed timelines
    • Maintain accurate records of all customer correspondences in relation to debts
    • Maintain a comprehensive monthly reconciliation of customer accounts
    • Ensure that payments and credits are allocated correctly
    • Maintain an ageing Analysis of all customer debts
    • Flag out any bad debt risk
    • Investigating and resolving queries relating to non-payment of invoices.
    • Any other duties as may be assigned by the Finance Director

    Key Performance Indicators

    • Ensure Zero overdue debt
    • Meet Collection Target Every Week
    • Ensure timeliness, accuracy and completeness of all invoices.

    Qualifications

    • Hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised University and be a certified CPA or Credit Risk certification.
    • 3 years’ +  progressive experience in accounts receivables role
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Confidence and persistence.
    • The ability to keep calm under pressure.

    Business Development Officer

    Job Summary: Our client is a mid size management consulting services provider and wishes to recruit for the position of Business Development Officer; reporting to the Lead consultant.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Perform market research to identify new opportunities and engage with senior leadership to establish strategies for pursuing those new opportunities.
    • Create and improve proposals for existing and new clients; develop and deliver pitches for new clients.
    • Ensure company revenue targets are met.
    • Developing content for Publicity and marketing of events and services via website, social media, print media, emails and telephone contacts.
    • Identify the client’s requirements and expectations and offer solutions for the same.
    • Manage all event set-up, tear down and follow-up processes; Liaise with vendors, exhibitors, and stakeholders for events planning.
    • Assess an event’s overall success and provide credible business leads for follow-up.
    • Ensure all client queries are attended to.
    • Designing brochures, flyers, online content and banners for various marketing activities
    • Carry out other duties as may be directed by the supervisor.

    Qualifications

    • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in business related studies from a recognised University.

    • Ability to travel to meet clients, attend conferences and research new markets as needed

    Job Summary: Our client is a medium sized entity in manufacturing industry and wishes to recruit for the position of Finance and Administration Manager.

    Duties & Essential Job Functions

    • Oversee the overall business budgeting preparation, management and monitoring processes.
    • Perform financial analysis, reporting and management activities.
    • Ensure that the financial reports are prepared and delivered on time.
    • Review financial data for accuracy, correctness and completeness.
    • Manage employee recruitment and training needs.
    • Monitor and manage all expense within the allotted budget.
    • Establish key financial strategies to enhance business profitability.
    • Ensure financial team follows company policies and regulations.

    Qualifications

    • 5 years’ +  experience senior level in finance and administration in a manufacturing Environment
    • Strong accounting background with ability to prepare budgets, cash-flow projections and financial reporting
    • Good knowledge in HR Management and Kenyan Labour Laws
