    Accounts Assistant

    Key Responsibilities

    • Receiving payment requests from suppliers and customers and posting in incoming registers

    Principal Surveyor, Navigation & Hydrography

    Key Responsibilities

    • Enforce safety of shipping, including compliance with construction regulations, maintenance of safety standards and safety of navigation rules;
    • Establishing and maintaining all established by the Authority and such other government owned navigational aids as may be under the control of the Authority;
    • Ensuring that all other navigational aids are established in compliance with the prescribed conditions and specifications and are maintained in proper working order;
    • Promulgating any information on changes to or deficiencies in any navigational aid;
    • Promulgating information on any developing or existing situations which may adversely affect maritime safety;
    • Determine the extent of application of Safety of Navigation provisions to warships, naval auxiliaries or other ships owned or operated by Government and ships operating in inland waters.
    • Investigate dangers to navigation.
    • Issue navigational warnings in accordance with IMO/IHO World-Wide Navigational Warning Service standards.
    • Process the application for, and grant exemptions or equivalents, accordingly.
