For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: –

Duties and responsibilities
This will be the entry and training grade for this cadre, a Programs & Projects Coordination Officer will be deployed in the Programmes and Projects Coordination Department to assist in:-
- implementing programs and projects in line with the International Award standards;
- engaging young people to contribute to national development priorities;
- supporting recruitment of Award Centres/leaders/participants;
- coordinating programme participants’ field activities; and verifying Record Books.
- participating in the designing and development of PA-K’s digital tools including the Online Record Book roll out for adoption, PA-K database and the Online Learning Hub roll out;
- participating in the training of PA-K’s adoption and use of digital space to drive Brand awareness for growth, including; Brand Centre use, Social media and Website use and online global and National campaigns to support PA-K’s Programme Growth;
- participating in the monitoring, evaluation and reporting on progress in the implementation of the digital platform roll out plan;
- participating in the formulation of policy documents on PA-K digital platform Strategy;
- participating in the preparation of plans to facilitate achievement of the digital platform goals;

Duties and responsibilities
- Responding to all queries in respect of PA-K from general public, media and special interest groups.
- Ensuring that collaterals for PA-K functions and other forms of communications by the PA-K are prepared and issued in line with PA-K brand guidelines and are aligned with overall communications strategy
- Collecting, receiving and communicating information that may inform PA-K strategic direction.
- Preparing and submitting weekly, monthly and periodic reports within schedule and up to standard.
- Distribute press releases and media kits
- Contribute to content development for PA-K’s publications.
- maintaining and regularly update data base and mailing list.
- monitoring the press on pertinent issues
- Update the PA-K’s website and digital platforms as advised and engage with users on social media sites
- Organizing events including press conferences, exhibitions, open days, workshops and fairs

Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade a candidate must have: –
- At least served as a Driver for at least four (4) years;
- Minimum KCSE C- (minus) or its equivalent;
- The Occupational Trade Test II Certificate or its Equivalent
- A valid driving license free from any current endorsements(s) for classes of the vehicles the driver is required to drive;
- A defensive Driving Certificate from the Automobile Association of Kenya (AA) or its equivalent qualification from any other recognized institution;
- A valid Certificate of Good Conduct;
- A First Aid Certificate course lasting not less than one (1) week from St. Johns Ambulance or any other recognized institution;
- An accident-free driving period of 5 years.
- Fulfill the requirements of Chapter 6.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Driving the PA-K vehicle as authorized;
- Ensuring safety of passengers and/or goods therein
- Recognizing and reporting mechanical defaults of the vehicles;
- ensuring security and safety of the vehicle on and off the road;
- Monitoring and reporting expiry of insurance policies for motor vehicles;
- Preparing and submitting reports on transport when need arises
- Carrying out minor mechanical adjustments.

- initiating the formulation of the HR strategies, policies, procedures and systems;
- conducting recruitment, selection and on boarding programmes in the Agency;
- verifying payroll data and submitting all statutory deductions
- verifying and ensuring regular updates of the Human Resource Information System;
- undertaking human resource planning and development;
- coordinating mentoring and counseling programmes;
- coordinating staff performance management.
- Identifying, designing and implementing training programs based on identified needs
- reviewing periodic progress reports;
- coordinating the preparation of budgets and HR procurement plans.

This will be the entry and training grade for this cadre, an Information Communication Technology Officer will be deployed in the Information Communication Technology Department to assist in;
- providing end user support and training users on effective and efficient use of ICT facilities;
- Developing documentation of computer programs according to instructions and specifications;
- Installing and configuring computer systems and solutions;
- Maintaining application systems;
- Maintaining up to date equipment register;
- Installing, configuring and monitoring Local Area Network components;
- Administering and managing users in the Active Directory, e-mail server and User applications;

Duties and responsibilities
This will be the entry and training grade for this cadre, a Supply Chain Management Officer will be deployed in the Supply Chain Management Department to assist in;
- Sourcing for goods, works and services as per the procurement law;
- Raising purchase orders for goods and services for approval;
- Liaising with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services;
- Maintaining and update a list of prequalified suppliers;
- Assisting in undertaking market surveys to ensure the Corporation obtains value for money;
- Ensuring safe custody of all procurement records; and
- Participating in the opening quotations.
