    Head of Credit

    PROFILE INTRODUCTION        

    Our client, one of the niche banks in Kenya that offers a wide range of finance products, seeks to bring on-board a highly skilled and motivated Head of Credit. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in credit management, a deep understanding of risk assessment, and a strategic mindset.
    The role holder will be responsible for shaping the bank's lending strategies, ensuring the prudent management of credit portfolios, and contributing to the bank's growth and success.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES      

    • Develop and execute the bank's credit strategy, aligning it with the institution's overall goals and risk appetite.
    • Oversee credit risk assessment and management, ensuring that lending decisions are made in line with established policies and risk parameters.
    • Manage and optimize the bank's credit portfolio, diversifying exposures and monitoring asset quality.
    • Lead a team of credit analysts in conducting comprehensive credit analysis for potential borrowers across various segments.
    • Review and update credit policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
    • Make informed credit decisions, approving or declining credit applications while adhering to internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
    • Oversee the ongoing monitoring of the organization's credit portfolio to assess the creditworthiness of borrowers and maintain accurate up-to-date credit documentation for all transactions and clients.
    • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, ensuring excellent service delivery and client satisfaction.
    • Ensure that all credit operations and practices comply with applicable banking laws and regulations.
    • Prepare and present regular reports to senior management and the board of directors on credit portfolio performance and risk exposure.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

    The job holder will require the following minimum requirements: - 

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
    • CPA K and/ or ACCA membership.
    • Experience in Analysis, Credit Administration, Legal documentation, and expertise in trade Finance
    • Minimum ten [10] years of experience in credit management within a banking or financial institution, with a proven track record of success.
    • Strong understanding of credit risk assessment, credit analysis, and portfolio management.
    • Knowledge of regulatory requirements governing credit operations in the banking industry.

    Head of Human Resource

    PROFILE INTRODUCTION        

    Our client, one of the niche banks in Kenya that offers a range of finance products, seeks to bring on board a Head of Human Resources (HR) to play a critical role in shaping the bank's HR strategies, fostering a culture of excellence, and ensuring the bank attracts, develops, and retains top-tier talent.

    They will be expected to demonstrate expertise in cultural transformation, talent management, and performance management. Additionally, a solid understanding and appreciation of organizational development is a crucial requirement for this position.
    As a change agent, the role holder is required to align organization strategic goals with employees and business units while building credible relations. Facilitate execution of initiatives to deliver value added service to management and employees that reflects business goals of the organization.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES      

    • Develop and execute the bank's HR strategy, aligning it with the institution's overall goals and values.
    • Oversee recruitment and selection processes, ensuring that the bank attracts and hires the best-fit candidates for various roles.
    • Lead the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback mechanisms.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

    The job holder will require the following minimum requirements: - 

    • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • A Master's degree or relevant HR certifications.
    • HR Professional qualification, membership to a professional body with a current and valid Human Resource Practicing License
    • At least 10 years’ experience in multifaceted organizations
    • Regional/Global experience shall be an added advantage
    • Proven experience in HR leadership roles within the banking or financial services sector.
    • Strong background in HR analytics and data-driven decision-making.

    Head of Digital Channels

    PROFILE INTRODUCTION    

    • Our client, one of the niche banks in Kenya that offers a range of financial products, seeks to bring on board a Head of Digital Channels to review the Bank’s existing digital and service channels, propose and deliver improvements that in turn will enhance customer experience and establish efficiencies in alignment with the Bank’s strategy. 
    • The Head of Digital Channels will be responsible for developing new fit for purpose digital solutions, managing the performance of the products, build programs to identify needs, opportunities and develop tactics to execute and grow the business
    • The role holder is further responsible for transforming digital experiences across all digital channels. They will direct the planning and implementation of product development and digital systems in support of business operations to improve cost effectiveness, service quality, and growth of the volume of transactions, deposits and revenues generated through adoption and usage of Digital solutions .

    Key Responsibilities

    • To provide leadership and guidance in understanding business change needs, assessing the impact of those changes, capturing, analysing and documenting requirements and then supporting the communication and delivery of those requirements with relevant parties.
    • Responsible for the Bank’s Digital P&L as well as Balance Sheet delivery. This shall include ensuring right pricing for the bank’s digital products, revenue leakage prevention as well as mobilising the targeted deposits through the Digital suit of solutions
    • Identify growth opportunities by leveraging data analytics, new product enhancements and customer feedback.
    • Work effectively with product development, marketing & communications, and data  functions to ensure alignment on timeline, roles, responsibilities to execute successful commercialization of digital products.
    • Work with the Communications Division and other stakeholders to drive awareness and preference for the bank’s Digital solutions in the market. This role must position the bank as the true driver of Digital solutions in the market
    • Establish and manage the achievement of key performance metrics for market activation and sales programs/initiatives for all virtual banking products that will be shared with business leaders.
    • Management of current product offering to ensure smooth delivery thereof and collection of all related revenues.
    • Identify, escalate and ensure resolution of issues impacting sales and acquisition of digital products
    • Continuous engagement with strategic alliances and partners to ensure adequate product and process support to drive revenues

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • At least 5 years’ experience in business development, Sales, sales operations, or strategy roles within a digital business environment. 
    • A university undergraduate degree in Business or Technology 
    • In-depth understanding of the various digital banking platforms 
    • In-depth understanding of Financial Technology (Fintech).
    • Experience in managing revenue, cost, profit management and digital reporting
    • Maintain up to date knowledge of competitor and local market activity.
    • Deep understanding of banking operations, processes, and regulatory requirements, as well as the technology trends that are shaping the industry.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
    • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget.
    • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex organisational structures and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

    Profile Introduction            

    Our client seeks to bring on board a House Manager who will be responsible for general housekeeping, culinary duties and overseeing day to day activities of the house.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • A minimum of 7-10 years’ experience supporting senior Executives with specific experience in housekeeping and other related domestic duties.
    • Ability to work independently (with little or no supervision running all the household chores of a senior executive).
