    IMT Partner Support

    ​Job Description​

    Improving partner management experience, create engaged partnerships and facilitate organic growth. Taking ownership of customers issues and following problems through to resolution. Setting a clear mission and deploying strategies focused towards that mission. 

    Responsibilities  

    • Ensure provision of quality service to the IMT partners. 
    • Receive partner requests and attend to complaints and ensure prompt feedback is given and action taken. 
    • Ensure optimal performance of the IMT support function. 
    • Liase with the IT department to address system downtime issues within the specified Service Level agreement 
    • Maintain constant communication of partner needs, wants and concerns. 
    • Uphold quality control by advising partners on strategies to decrease errors for future effectiveness. 
    • Ensure risk and compliance issues are identified, assessed, monitored, controlled and reported. 
    • Generate sales leads. 
    • Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools. 
    • Other duties as required. 

    Qualifications

    • A business-related Degree from a recognized University. 
    • 2- 3 years Working Experience in Operations. 
    • Excellent written communication skills. 
    • Ability to execute and work around priorities.

    Account Manager – Cross Border Payments

    Job Description​  

    Reporting to the Head IMT & Remittances, The Account Manager IMT will facilitate; New partnership onboarding initiatives for Equity Group, Business & Operational support to the partners.  The role’s objective is to grow Equity Group’s presence in the Money Transfer space. This role is responsible for partner support from end to end across the subsidiaries.  

    Responsibilities  

    • Onboard, manage and facilitate Partnerships with IMT Remittances providers. 
    • The main point of contact between the group and IMT Remittances Partners 
    • Identify, propose and manage individual money transfer partnerships and their contributions 
    • Work closely with Compliance and Legal Teams to ensure due diligence conducted on the Money Transfer Service providers is above board. 
    • Work closely with the technical teams to ensure systems are available and working. 
    • Anticipate market developments, trends and identify business growth opportunities 
    • Working with Internal Teams to accomplish marketing and business development objectives by planning developing implementing and evaluating advertising and marketing initiatives and developing field business development action plans 
    • Work with the other stakeholders in the bank to ensure 360 support of the cross border services i.e Treasury team, Reconciliation and Settlement, Finance and Operations, Risk and compliance, marketing. 
    • Support MT product training within the banks network. 
    • Ensure adherence to policies and procedures. 

    Qualifications

    Qualifications and Education Requirements 

    • A business-related Degree from a recognized University. 
    • 2- 3 years working Experience within the Bank. 
    • Excellent verbal communication skills. 
    • Professionalism with a definite sense of purpose. 
    • Maintains a people- first attitude. 
    • Prior experience in a Payments role is an added advantage. 

    Key Deliverables (KPIs): 

    • Growth in the Partnership network 
    • Ensure SLA in Partner onboarding process is achieved 
    • Compliance with partner requirements 
    • Partner support and customer service 
    • Growth in transaction volumes and count as a secondary result

    Business Performance Officer

    Job Purpose

    • Responsible for supporting the Group subsidiaries with planning & budgeting, business projections development & support of the ICAAP process, managing strategic partnership relationships and reporting, cost optimization monitoring, business partnership for the commercial, and operations department monitoring reporting and managing DFI relationships, and subsidiary performance reporting.   

    Job Responsibilities/ Accountabilities

    •  Support preparation of annual budgets and forecast review and consolidation in line with strategic plans
    • Insightful performance monitoring, variance analysis and reporting
    • Executive reporting: Functional reports, Manco reports, board reports, and investor briefing reports
    • Review and preparation of cost efficiency reports and identification of areas of cost optimization
    • DFI reporting and relationship management

     Qualifications

    Required Skills and Qualifications

    •  A degree in Finance, Commerce, Data science or other relevant business discipline
    • Knowledge of accounting best practices and regulations. CPA/ ACCA qualification or equivalent required
    • At least 1-2 years relevant commercial and/ or management reporting experience, including exposure to senior executives and directors
