    Bar and Restaurant Supervisor

    Our client operating along parklands area with clients from its environment and beyond and operating extended hours is looking for a Bar and Restaurant Supervisor who will be tasked with ensuring that the restaurant runs smoothly in all way.

    Job Summary:

    To  work alongside a small team and oversees the overarching aspects of the restaurant by ensuring smooth operation of activities in the eatery, bar and maintaining an excellent relationships with customers while strategically growing business.

    Duties

    1. Ensure customer satisfaction through promoting excellent service; respond to customer complaints tactfully and professionally,
    2. Maintain quality control for all food and drinks served while managing inventory,
    3. Managing schedules, and ensuring compliance with all food health and safety requirements,
    4. Managing operations, workflow and perform opening and closing duties
    5. Creating and managing team schedules, oversee food preparation,
    6. Training new hires, overseeing staff, helping to resolve employee issues and disputes,
    7. Conducting marketing, promotion, and driving sales

    Desired attributes

    1. At least three years relevant work experience in a busy restaurant,
    2. A degree or a Diploma in hospitality management, hotel Management and catering,
    3. A minimum of 2 years experience in sales in FMCG industry especially in hospitality industry.
    4. High level of integrity with excellent customer service skills,
    5. Ability to manage proactively and consistently,
    6.  well-developed communication skills person with ability to communicate orally and in written form,
    7. Ability to make timely decision-making through planning, information gathering and assessing alternative resolutions,

    Bar and Restaurant Sales and Marketing Representative

    Our client operating along parklands area with clients from its environment and beyond and operating extended hours is looking for a Bar and Restaurant Sales and Marketing Representative who will be tasked with ensuring that the restaurant runs smoothly in all way.

    Job Summary:

    To be responsible for helping build up and grow business by identifying new business prospects, selling product, maintaining relationships to customers while searching out business leads and trends on bar and restaurant products.

    Duties

    1. Ensure customer satisfaction through promoting excellent service; respond to customer complaints tactfully and professionally,
    2. Plan, prepare and present persuasive approaches and pitches to potential clients,
    3. Research and identify the needs of clients and customise packages best suited for them,
    4. Identify and grow opportunities within assigned territory achieving set sales targets
    5. Manage placed orders effectively to ensure zero cancellations due to sales-related issues to reduce financial losses,
    6. Developing strategies and tactics to boost the restaurant sales of food and drinks,
    7. Deploying successful sales and marketing campaigns from ideation to execution through face to face, field, online and other channels,
    8. Use an existing network of industry contacts to generate new business,
    9. Execute market intelligence in the hospitality industry and create a close relationship with clients to increase the resultant offers awareness,
    10. Attend industry events to increase brand awareness and acquire new contacts

    Desired attributes

    1. Ability to do a market research, customer intelligence, competitor and market analysis with sales performance tracking and reporting,
    2. Knowledge of  route planning, sales management and after sales service
    3. High level of integrity with excellent customer service skills.
    4. A degree or a Diploma in a business related field like marketing, business or management, hospitality management, hotel and catering,
    5. A minimum of 2 years experience in sales in FMCG industry especially in hospitality industry.
    6. Good knowledge of Nairobi market and the general trade retail landscape
    7. Energetic and aggressive with personal selling experience with a wide sales network
    8. Ability to own a sales number with proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas
    9. Negotiation, and strong communication skills

    Restaurant Chef

    Our client operating along parklands area with clients from its environment and beyond and operating extended hours is looking for a Chef who will be tasked with ensuring all food preparation and delivery related operations are executed with precision.

    Job Summary

    The best candidate will be planning menus, prepare and deliver a complete menu that delights our guests in a timely manner and ensuring that the food meets high-quality standards.

    Duties

    1. Handling all food-related concerns and taking care of all food preparation needsat restaurants or any other places where food is regularly served
    2. Planning the menu, keeping in mind budget, and availability of seasonal ingredients and overseeing all kitchen operations.
    3. Set up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment, like knives, pans and kitchen scales.
    4. Ensuring that all food is of excellent quality and served in a timely manner.
    5. Coordinating kitchen staff, and assisting them as required.
    6. Training staff to prepare and cook all the menu items.
    7. Taking stock of ingredients and equipment, and placing orders to replenish stock.
    8. Enforcing safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen.
    9. Creating new recipes to keep the menu fresh.
    10. Keeping up to date with industry trends.
    11. Receiving feedback and making improvements where necessary
    12. Cleaning up after the meals are made

    Job Requirements

    1. Diploma or certificate in Food and Beverage Management.
    2. At least 2 years hospitality working experience and advanced knowledge of the culinary arts.
    3. Analytical mind and Problem-solving skills
    4. Portfolio of creative, unique dishes, sanitation and quality control.
    5. Great leadership, excellent multitasking ability and interpersonal skills.
    6. Ability to run stocktaking and place orders for resupply.
    7. Exemplary work ethic in a high-pressure environment.
    8. Passion and pride for delighting people with food.

    Log Book Loan Officers (2)

    Our client a non -deposit taking micro finance that offer quick business loans without savings security, deposit and against motor vehicle  to borrowing clients to meet urgent business financial needs is seeking to Hire Two (2) Log Book Loan Officers to market and sell the same.

    Duties

    1. Interviewing applicants to determine financial eligibility and feasibility of granting loans while evaluating the financial status of a loan applicant.
    2. Meet with loan applicants to identify their needs and collect information for loan applications by contacting prospective customers to present information and explain available services.
    3. Explain technical information on products or services to customers.
    4. Identifying and creating new referral lead sources
    5. Contact current or potential customers to promote and resell products or services.
    6. Submit loan applications in a timely manner and operate in compliance with laws and regulations.
    7. Work with existing clients to strengthen relationships, encourage referrals, and enhance your reputation among others seeking loans
    8. Reject loan applications and explain deficiencies to applicants.
    9. Respond to applicants’ questions and resolve any loan-related issues.

    Requirements

    1. Basic qualifications are important including in business administration, finance, economics, or any other related field,
    2. Experienced persons with at least 2 years of selling log book loans from reputable microfinance organisations.
    3. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
    4. Customer service and exceptional sales skills.
    5. Quantitative skills and good judge of character
    6. Verbal and written communication
    7. Independence and mental stamina.
    8. Decision-making skills and time management capabilities.

     Compensation

    An offer of a basic retainer of Kshs 25,000.00 plus negotiated competitive commissions and remuneration structure on targets, flexible to negotiate with compelling candidates.
