Job Purpose Statement

• Responsible for providing the strategic direction for the infrastructure function on an enterprise level. Assesses the relative impact of IT industry trends to current and future enterprise infrastructure needs and projects. Interfaces with business unit heads and other IT functional area s to define infrastructure support initiatives and solutions for improving service efficiency and effectiveness. Leads the development of infrastructure strategy, architecture, service delivery standards and procedures for the enterprise.
• Participates in IT strategy planning activities, bringing a current knowledge and future vision of infrastructure technology and systems and best practices (e.g., ITIL) as related to the needs of the business.
• Proactively researches and re commends courses of action to prevent problems and to maintain high infrastructure service levels for the user community. Analyses and predicts trends and develops long - range plan designed to maintain cost effectiveness and competitiveness of the enterprise’s IT infrastructure. Establishes metrics, key performance indicators and service level agreements for driving the performance of IT service delivery.
• Responsible for the IT service delivery management of servers, networks, e-mail, directory Collaboration/telecommunications and other technology platforms shared across the enterprise. Prepare plans for development and installation of Data Centre according to present and future requirements and ensures compliance to Data Center standards and systems.
• To ensure adherence to all established guidelines and management practices on Group Data Centers and coordinate with various departments and perform integration of critical systems into infrastructure. In liaison with Data center hosting providers to enhancement and develop strategies to ensure achievement of data center capacity, procedures associated with assets and capacity.

Ideal Job Specifications
Academic :

• University degree in Information technology/Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/T telecommunications.
• Master’s degree would be an added advantage.

Professional:

• Leadership/coaching/management trainings Training and certification in IT Service Management e.g. ITIL, Enterprise Operating
• System administration e.g. MCSE, Network related certification e.g. CCNA, Security related
• Certification etc. Business Continuity training Project Management Skills -PRINCE2, PMP

Desired work experience:

• Ten years’ experience in Infrastructure support in medium to large organizations and or banking or Financial service organization would be an added advantage Five years in supervisory role

Job Purpose Statement

• Sr. Cloud Architect is responsible for evaluating an organization’s business needs and determining how IT can support those needs leveraging software, hardware, or infrastructure. The role bridges the gap between business requirements and the implementation of technology solutions.
• The role closely looks at how the different elements of business, information, and technology can be applied to solve a specific problem while maximizing the return on technology investment. The architect Identifies and reviews the various building blocks, propose those that provides the best possible fix and actively lead the technical vision to success.
• Manage the review of deviations from specifications as well as ensure that relevant technical strategies, policies, standards and practices are applied correctly.
• The architect participates in stewardship of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Microservices Architecture (MSA), Application Programming Interface (APIs) artifacts and definitions, including enterprise services and API management.

Ideal Job Specifications

•  Degree in Science/computer science/Engineering/Business related degree from reputable education institution. A master’s degree in Information Technology or an MBA will be an added advantage.
• Training and certification in IT Service Management e.g., ITIL, COBIT, ISO  IT Architecture Training and Certification e.g., TOGAF
•  Infrastructure and Cloud related certification and training
• Business Continuity training
• 4+ years’ professional experience in IT solution architecture, deployment of APIs, cloud, Docker and Kubernetes experience is desirable
• Solid grasp of design patterns and principles, particularly Object-Oriented Design (OOD), Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), Microservice Architecture (MSA) and Event-Driven Architecture (EDA).
• Experience on systems Core Banking Systems and integrations to Mobile money transfer, USSD / SMS, Omni Channel, Internet Banking, BPM, ERP, CRM and other systems in a financial services ecosystem a MUST.
• Possesses a strong customer service attitude, excellent communication skills, exhibits a passion for learning and continuous improvement.

Job Purpose Statement

The role holder is required to achieve customer growth, monitoring and compliance, client satisfaction and retention management for corporate banking division through collaborative account management and delivering reports with the sectors Assistant Relationship Managers and Relationship Managers and other stakeholders in the organisation.

The role shall support the sector by ensuring that all promises made to all stakeholders in the department are fulfilled. The role holder shall coordinate the preparation and compilation of relevant reports with follow ups for closure.

Ideal Job Specifications
Academic:

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field from a recognized accredited university.

Professional

• CPA qualification is an advantage

Desired work experience:

• At least 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role in a similar sized organisation.
• Proven track record of consistently achieving a portfolio’s financial growth and analysis (Sales/Business Development / Credit Analysis background) will be an added advantage
• Experience in products, bank operations and customer experience is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of the local banking industry, banking products, banking services and banking regulations.
• Sound working knowledge and understanding of general Commercial Banking regulations and practices.
