    Brand Manager, Sponsorships

    Reporting to the Senior Manager, Brand Experience, this role is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing and activity plans that drive the business objectives to increase brand awareness, brand equity, brand affinity and drive of conversion, trial and usage numbers or products.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Development and execution of sponsorship marketing plan across the Group for the assigned products and/or business units.
    • Work with the brand managers, business marketing teams and other Business Bank functions to develop high quality, commercially successful event sponsorship models, in line with the Bank’s Brand strategy.
    • Maintain healthy relationships with all sponsorship partners across the Group.
    • Ensure that event sponsorship products are consistent with our corporate partnership and brand strategies both Group-wide and in-country.
    • Regular performance tracking of all sponsorship activities and compilation of a appropriate reports for consumption by management.
    • Coordinate internal and external partners - units, agencies and suppliers- to execute sponsorship activations effectively within set timelines
    • Develop briefs for sponsorship projects in line with the business and brand objectives
    • Track and analyze assigned sponsorship performance through sales numbers and value, monthly Share of Voice (SOV) and monthly competitor advertising and industry trends and utilize to prepare monthly reports with recommendations to the line manager.
    • Collaborate with Business Functions and other marketing functions to scout for and identify sponsorship opportunities that align with the Bank’s branding strategy.

    The Person

    For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:

    • University Degree in Marketing, Advertising, communications or related field from a recognized institution.
    • At least 5 years’ experience in Sponsorship Management and Brand Management with at least 4 years’ experience in events planning and public relations.

    Manager E- Channels, Card Switch and Interface

    The role holder will maintain an efficient Card Management System • To deliver quality service to both internal and external customers and provide high system availability of systems at all times. He will provide operational assistance and guidance in IT related areas to the Card Center team and ensure compliance of the card management system with payment associations (VISA& MASTERCARD).

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide leadership to KCB CARD-IT team and prepare duty schedules.
    • Maintenance of accurate and updated system configuration and documentation for all the Card-IT systems and ensure that constant review and versioning is done.
    • Perform core systems administration tasks, that is, the custodian of systems, ensure security of systems and information, maintain inventory of systems and perform authorized users' administration.
    • Collect and account for transactions acquired through merchant establishments, ATMs and other sources.
    • Establish and maintain data processing schedules and controls to ensure timely delivery of quality assured outputs.
    • Ensure timely delivery of reports for users, processing of incoming and outgoing files to and from VISA and MASTERCARD and any other interfaced systems.
    • Ensure 24*7 availability of the card systems as required by users.
    • Keep track of systems and user related issues and attend to them promptly.
    • Perform system upgrades and apply system patches promptly received from system vendors.

    The Person

    For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:

    • University Degree in IT/ Computer Science/ Mathematics or related field from a recognized institution.
    • At Least 4 years' experience in Technology, with at least 3 years' experience in card systems.
    • At least 2 years' experience in Linux server administration, with at least 1 year experience in IT projects & Business Analysis.

    Manager, Information Systems

    Reporting to the Senior Manager, Information Systems Audit, the Manager, Information Systems Audit will carry out Information System / Technology related audits and advisory assignments across the Group that will give objective and independent assurance that the bank’s Information Systems and ICT infrastructure are appropriate, well utilized, reliable and secure while giving commensurate recommendations on areas of improvement.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Participate and contribute to the Technology and Information Systems risk assessment process to develop the annual Group IS audit plan.
    • Plan and complete IS audit and advisory assignments involving Technology assurance in consultation with the Senior Manager, IS Audit and Head, IS Audit according to the approved Group IS audit plan within the defined timelines.
    • Develop in consultation with the Senior Manager, IS Audit appropriate audit tests and programs aimed at efficiently and effectively testing Technology Assurance levels.
    • Perform IT Governance, IT general and IT application control reviews on information systems and Technology environment to give assurance on the effectiveness and efficiency of the control environment, and compliance to KCB Group policies, International Standards (ISO 27001, ISO 22301, PCI DSS, NIST 800, etc.), and Regulatory requirements and guidelines.
    • Perform data analytics-based audit procedures as part of IT application reviews to test the completeness, accuracy, and validity of master and transactional data using CAATs tools and submit to the continuous auditing team for subsequent automation.
    • Perform ongoing project assurance and post implementation reviews on Technology related projects.
    • Follow up and verify closure of IS audit issue action plans as per stakeholder engagement agreements and track to completion within agreed timelines.
    • Documents the results of audit work in accordance with internal audit guidelines and the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) standards.
    • Maintain pro-active approach to risk assessment through market intelligence, continuous engagements with stakeholders to understand business dynamics and through data analytics.
    • Share knowledge, skills, and experience with team members.

    The Person

    For the above position, the successful applicant should meet the following criteria:

    • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a Related field from a university recognized by Commission for University Education.
    • Must Possess CISA/CISM/CISSP or a related IT audit or IT security certification.
    • Master's degree is an added advantage
    • A minimum 5 years' experience in IT / IS Audit covering 3 years in IT Governance review, IT project assurance, and Information Systems Audit Experience.
    • Must possess proficiency in performing IT governance, IT project assurance, IT general and IT application controls reviews.
    • Must possess proficiency in performing data analytics using CAATs tools and SQL.
    • Must possess proficiency in the use of audit management software e.g., TeamMate.
    • Must possess excellent audit report writing and presentation skills.
    • Must possess excellent customer service skills, strong business analytical skills, superior communication, and inter-personal skills.
    • Must possess effective planning, organizing and problem-solving skills.
