    Job Purpose Statement

    This newly created position reports to the Group Director Retail Banking and is responsible for executing the Bank’s strategy in Affluent Banking (Premier and Platinum) Clients Segments. The role holder is expected to effectively and efficiently drive performance to meet targets and grow the affluent segments business by identify new opportunities, retaining and growing existing business relationships and maintaining profitable relationships with existing customers. A key medium-term strategic outcome for this role is the achievement of recognised leadership by the NCBA Group in the affluent clients segments

    Academic Qualifications: 

    • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized accredited university.
    • A Master’s degree in strategic management or business administration, or other similar relevant

    Director, Network Business and Distribution

    Job Purpose Statement

    This is a newly created Director position reporting to the Group Director Retail Banking with the overall responsibility for providing leadership to the Bank’s strategy and performance of the Branch Network andRetail Sales Business Distribution. The role holder will be responsible for ensuring efficiency in operations to enable accelerated business growth across branches for all customer segments (Consumer, Affluent, Commercial and SME Banking).     BPM Specialist

    Job Purpose Statement

    This role will be responsible for systems support on IBPS, NOBS, NLS systems, and Credit Quest. The preferred candidate will also act as a business analyst for IBPS, NLS, NOBS and Credit Quest Systems delivery and a relationship manager to the Related System users and ensuring Service Level agreements of uptime and performance are attained and maintained at all times. This includes support for projects and changes carried out on any of these applications In collaboration with external vendors, system experts and information security experts the Branch Applications Specialist will schedule and direct activities to resolve IBPS, NLS, NOBS, Credit Quest software and service problems in a timely and accurate fashion according to agreed SLA.

    • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science /Information
    • Minimum 5 years working experience in a busy IT or Project Office environment within a financial institution.
    • Understanding and experience in supporting IBPS, NLS Systems and Credit Quest operations.

    Manager, SME Credit Advisory

    Job Purpose Statement

    The Manager SME Credit Advisory is primarily responsible for:

    • Delivery of Collection Target to a CRAG Portfolio of SME/BB Customers experiencing financial distress.
    • Primary, Secondary and desktop credit risk CRAG reviews of SME names to identify key credit risk concerns, come up with mitigation strategies & covenant/monitoring actions/targets
    • Turn Around of SME CRAG names to resolve credit risk concerns.
    • Adoption and relationship management of CRAG names under Primary management to turn around, reduce, exit and collect based on strategy and target
    • Determining objectives, strategies and actions that need to be adopted to address business risk issues.
    • Reduce Bank’s risk and achieve collections, reduce and managed exit solutions so that the bank realises maximum return in the shortest time possible.
    • Provide secondary support to the relationship team on problem accounts managed under the Normal or Watch category

    Academic:

    • Bachelor’s degree in a business management discipline in either of Finance, Business, and Economics, Mathematics / Statistics or related field from a reputable institution.
    • Master’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Accounting or any other equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized university.

    Professional:

    • Comprehensive banking background and extensive experience in credit appraisal and loan portfolio management.
    • Experience in engaging C-level management and senior executives in facilitating decisionmaking and reporting.
    • Extensive understanding of business and financial fundamentals, with mathematical aptitude & advanced accounting skills.
