    E-Learning Coordinator

    Reporting to the steering committee of the eLearning program. The holder of this position will be responsible for all the to-day oversight functions of the eLearning program

    Key Responsibilities:

    He/she will serve as a key member of the steering committee with responsibilities in design, administration and evaluation of program outcomes.

    • Incumbent will be responsible for overall day-to-day operational aspects of the eLearning Initiative
    • Liaise between administration and technical teams to ensure efficiency of program activities
    • Offer and Facilitate training sessions and mentor program to members of staff
    • Oversee both Pedagogy and Instructional Design components of the program
    • Participate in personnel recruitment, program evaluation, and administration.

    Educational Qualifications and Professional Experience:

    • Graduate degree from an accredited university.
    • At least 5 years developing online curriculum, courses, and assessment tools in higher education
    • Experience in instructional learning at University level in both traditional face-to-face, and online delivery methodologies
    • Sound Knowledge of the teaching, learning, pedagogy and faculty development.
    • Understanding of the use of LMS’s and other software and innovative technologies used in a fully online academic environment.

    Network Facilitator

    Reporting to the Director, USIU Online. The holder of this position will be responsible for offering support to the E-Learning project leadership team in the overall design and implementation of the Initiative.

    Essential duties and responsibilities:

    • Support in the overall design and implementation of the eLearning Initiative across all the participating institutions including all the prioritized areas identified;
    • Advise on the structure and modus operandi of the initiative thematic working groups;
    • Provide technical support and mentorship to other partners;
    • Facilitate learning across the network;
    • Leverage learning from the Scholars Program e-Learning initiative to provide advice to the wider eLearning initiative of the Foundation;
    • Drive processes, provide technical support, support procurement processes;
    • Facilitate contact, dialogue, collaboration and learning between participating institutions and also, communities of practice;
    • Spot opportunities for collaboration (within the partner network and with external actors);
    • Encourage broad participation by partners in accordance with the agreed principles for the initiative;
    • Ensure action points are monitored, clearly assigned and completed in a timely manner;
    • Periodically invite feedback from stakeholders on the conduct and efficacy of workshops and introduce process improvements where possible;
    • In consultation with members of the Foundation’s Impact team, develop an impact framework, that will include a plan to gather data on progress towards outcomes from across the network

    Educational Qualifications and Professional Experience:

    • Master’s in Business or other related fields
    • 10 years’ professional experience in partnership development and/or program management
    • Strong practical technical skills in a wide variety of online technologies/engagement platforms
    • Experience working in higher education in support of faculty.

    Faculty Advisor, Online Pedagogy

    Reporting to the Lead, Online Pedagogy, Director-USIU Online. The holder of this position will be responsible for planning, execution, testing, and assessing instructional design projects and champion the methodical design and development of online course curriculum while providing clear direction to the faculty.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Work closely with UI/UX, media developers, and other team members to design and develop premium online course content.
    • Provide strong faculty support at all stages of the instructional design process.
    • Coordinate Monitoring and Evaluation activities
    • Mentor program scholars on a one-on-one basis to support Online Pedagogy staff
    • Help program scholars apply discipline-specific pedagogical tools during the module-development process.

    Reporting to the Lead, Instructional Design. The holder of this position will be responsible for supporting the Instructional Design Lead to plan, execute, test, and assess instructional design projects.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Work closely with UI/UX, media developers, and other team members to design and develop premium online course content.
    • Under guidance of the lead trainer use effective instructional delivery methods; modern, sleek and intuitive UI/UX design practices; and provide strong faculty support at all stages of the instructional design process.

    • Review portfolios and facilitate submission and archiving of completed portfolios and other resources to Lead, Online Content Development.
