    Technician- Maintenance

    Responsibilities

    • Execute Preventive, Autonomous, and Planned maintenance on all factory equipment, standby generators, utilities, and buildings.
    • Implement findings from OSHA audits and execute other self-driven or delegated initiatives.
    • Initiate continuous improvement projects, including process automation for maximum operational efficiencies.
    • Implement Engineering processes and services in compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards set by Trufoods and Regulatory agencies.
    • Maintain comprehensive equipment logs using Job Cards, recording performance, repairs, and calibrations.
    • Ensure high machine/equipment availability and achieve minimum downtime.
    • Train operators on simple diagnostic tools, leveraging the power of senses (e.g., detecting unfamiliar sounds, overheating, and proper greasing).
    • Adhere to clean and hygienic standards at work stations and promote food safety programs.
    • Comply with all Kartasi policies.
    • Submit the weekly ROI report (Results, Objectives, and Issues) to the supervisor every Friday.
    • Participate in performance appraisals as scheduled by the performance management plan.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
    • Higher National Diploma (HND) or Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Mechatronics Engineering.
    • Must be proactive and possess high integrity. Strong interpersonal relations skills.
    • Ability to work effectively within tight deadlines.

    Sales Executive

    Responsibilities

    • Achieve Regional Sales Targets by working with distributors to grow existing markets and open new ones.
    • Manage Distributor Relationships (MR) and evaluate their performance based on defined KPIs.
    • Conduct Distributor KPI Monitoring, focusing on financial health checks, stock levels (Min/Max, quality, handling), warehouse capacity, and Route-to-Market (RTM) infrastructure.
    • Attain Regional Sales Targets through aggressive order generation across turnover, volumes, revenue, and collection metrics.
    • Monitor and analyze category performance (TLC, Exercise Books, Traded products) at all levels and develop SMART corrective action plans.
    • Drive Distributor Growth by ensuring distributors list the full product range and increase sell-out volumes.
    • Manage Sales Drivers (QDVPPP): Identify and implement corrective measures for problem distributors, brands, and markets in the assigned region.
    • Develop and Execute Below-The-Line (BTL) Activities such as Back- to-School (BTS), Brand Activations (BAs), Trade Discount Redemptions (TDRs), and consumer promotions.
    • Manage company resources and customer asset partnerships to ensure positive Return on Investment (ROI).
    • Collect and analyze market intelligence to counter competition and gain a competitive edge.
    • Recruit new clients and introduce new business streams to bridge distribution gaps and improve numerical distribution.
    • Proactively seek out and engage "Blue Oceans" (untapped markets) for business growth and expansion.
    • Ensure timely debt collection to maintain account alignment and facilitate prompt order conversion.
    • Set Min/Max stock levels for key distributors to optimize inventory. Operate strictly within the set budget for overall cost management.
    • Location-North and South Rift Regions, and Western Region

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Executive Sales role within the Manufacturing sector/FMCG.
    • Experience in a similar industry is preferred.
    • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business Management or equivalent.
    • Must be Computer literate.
    • Possession of a Valid driving license.

    Executive Maintenance Technician

    Responsibilities

    • Plan and execute Preventive, Autonomous, and Planned maintenance on all factory equipment, power supply lines, capacitor banks, standby generators, utilities, and
    • buildings.
    • Execute findings from energy surveys and audits or other self-driven/delegated initiatives.
    • Initiate continuous improvement projects, including
    • process automation for maximum operational efficiencies. Liaise with KPLC (Kenya Power and Lighting Company) on matters related to billing, power outages, and planned line maintenance/shutdowns.
    • Implement Engineering processes and services in compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards (Trufoods and Regulatory agencies).
    • Maintain detailed equipment logs via Job Cards, recording performance, repairs, and calibrations.
    • Evaluate the performance of service providers/contractors and maintain related records.
    • Prepare and submit required maintenance reports.
    • Ensure a safe working environment for staff, specifically preventing electricity-induced accidents and mishaps.
    • Ensure high machine/equipment availability and achieve minimum downtime as defined by Key Result Areas (KRA).
    • Train operators on simple diagnostic tools to reduce equipment and quality defects.
    • Adhere to clean and hygienic standards at work stations and promote food safety programs.
    • Continually identify areas for utility savings, especially in power consumption and equipment protection.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
    • Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
    • Possesses a strong personality and high integrity.
    • Must be proactive.
    • Strong interpersonal relations skills.
    • Able to work effectively within tight deadlines.

    Manager- Maintenance

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and manage the comprehensive annual Preventative Maintenance (PM) schedule to ensure full completion within time and budget.
    • Optimize equipment performance per SOPs, focusing on product quality and achieving all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
    • Ensure routine calibration and maintenance for all electro- mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
    • Lead the introduction of new machinery, from drawing up specifications and managing suppliers to full installation. Implement daily/weekly checks and schedule internal/external work to maximize planned and reduce unplanned downtime. Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to resolve machine issues and proactively manage dysfunctional machinery with shift management.
    • Develop clear accountability for maintenance material spend and manage the departmental budget and Capital Expenditure (CapEx).
    • Ensure all designated buildings, plant, and facilities are fit for purpose and provide proactive support.
    • Manage and maintain high standards of systems and equipment data storage and accuracy.
    • Identify and implement business and continuous improvement opportunities within the organization.
    • Conduct risk assessments of departmental processes and tasks and ensure contractor compliance on site.
    • Manage the process for disposal of obsolete machinery safely and lawfully.
    • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Maintenance team, setting objectives and conducting performance appraisals.
    • Ensure timely machine repairs and collaboration with Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards.
    • Prepare and analyze weekly ROI and monthly ROPE reports and attend all required technical and management meetings.

    Requirements

    • 10-15 years of experience in a continuous manufacturing plant.
    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a managerial position. Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
    • Computer literacy, especially proficient in MS Office suite. Ability to read, interpret, and understand engineering drawings and diagrams for effective fault finding.
    • Conversant with world-class manufacturing practices (e.g., TPM, Lean).
