    •  issuing instructions in litigation and arbitration proceedings relating to oil and gas where necessary;

    • updating rural electrification (RE) Master Plan;
    • participating in preliminary designing and cost estimating of rural electrification projects;
    • assisting in mobilizing financial resources for establishment of revolving funds to fiancé power distribution and rural electrification projects;
    • developing a prudent and financially sustainable customer connection policy to accelerate consumer connections towards achieving universal access;
    • reviewing of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) reports studies related to rural electrification projects;
    • participating in promotion of strategies that will minimize international energy trade barriers, attract investments and facilitate exchange of information and data;
