    Partnership Development Manager

    Background

    Reports to: Executive Director

    Job Purpose

    Reporting to the Executive Director, the Partnership Development Manager will fulfil a senior management role, and work to develop new, potentially diverse, partnerships that serve to extend the impact of Dignitas. These partnerships will form a critical part of the strategy to develop and steward a sustainable, diversified local and international resource base for the organization’s work. The Partnership Development Manager will work closely with the Executive Director to ensure strategic growth of the organization.

    This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced, results-driven leader who is passionate about people, and able to grow and scale the organization.

    Key Tasks and Responsibilities

    • Identify, pursue and steward a range of corporate partnerships to support Dignitas’ growing program portfolio.
      • Develop and implement strategy to reach medium to large corporates, and corporate foundations toward partnership around agreed priorities.
      • Cultivate a list of strategically identified potential partners who could invest in Dignitas programs.
      • Negotiate partnership agreements and contracts, and provide oversight of delivery on these partnerships including reporting.
      • Track and communicate impact of partnerships, leveraging the Learning and Evaluation team and collateral to help build evidence that contributes to broader organizational learning and growth.
    • Develop strategic channels for earned revenue through service provision partnerships.
      • Refine existing Business Plan and Financial Model
      • Drive sales and marketing strategy, including development of relevant collateral and online presence.
      • Be responsible for growth, and achievement of key deliverables.
      • Management and oversight of any staff assigned to Vibrant Schools
    • In collaboration with the Executive Director, develop an organizational Partnership Development Strategy that is focused on growth and resource mobilization.
      • Identify relevant trends in investment, partnerships, sustainability and general programming
      • Ensure partnerships align with program development plans, and resource required.
      • Leverage partnerships as a strategic growth opportunity, including exploration of new geographies, workstreams etc.

    Business Development Manager

    Background

    Reports to: Partnership Development Manager

    Job Purpose

    Reporting to the Partnership Development Manager, the Business Development Manager’s role will include researching, creating and pursuing earned revenue pipelines. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for establishing rapport and building long-lasting partnerships that help Dignitas to build diverse, sustainable income streams. The Business Development Manager will collaborate closely with members across the team to ensure strategic growth of the organization.

    Key Tasks and Responsibilities

    • Implement Vibrant Schools’ Business Plan for growth in earned revenue through service provision partnerships.
      • Map new and existing communities as necessary, and build relevant data sets that will inform program design and implementation.
      • Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities and develop and pursue a sales pipeline.
      • Attending conferences, meetings, and sector events.
    • Develop and implement a sales and marketing strategy for Vibrant Schools.
      • Develop relevant collateral and online presence
      • Plan and implement new marketing initiatives designed to identify and develop new markets and improve sales in existing markets.
      • Pursue strategic partnerships with associations, member networks and other forums that will feed into partnership pipelines.
    • Drive growth and achievement of key business development deliverables, as agreed with Partnership Development Manager
      • Develop quotes and proposals for clients that enable sales targets to be reached and delivered on.

    Learning and Evaluation Manager

    Background

    Reports to: Executive Director
    Team: Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning
    Supervises: Learning and Evaluation Officer

    Job Purpose

    Reporting to the Executive Director, the Learning and Evaluation Manager’s role will include designing and implementing learning and evaluation frameworks to drive program efficacy and expansion. The Learning and Evaluation Manager will also supervise the Learning and Evaluation Officer, and other intermittent contractors who support data collection, input, and analysis. Finally, the Learning and Evaluation Manager will collaborate closely with other members of the senior leadership team to incorporate internal learning and education sector innovations to improve the Dignitas model and approach.

    Key Tasks and Responsibilities

    • Design and implementation of Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning frameworks and tools to measure program efficacy and effectiveness
      • Develop program(s) Theory of Change with reference to all relevant documentation and analyses.
      • Collaborate with Programs Team to ensure program design agrees with Theory of Change
      • Develop evaluation frameworks and tools based on the Theory of Change
        • Ensure correlating baseline, midline, (where appropriate) and endline.
        • Conduct testing/piloting of tools
        • Conduct staff and research assistant training on use of tools
        • Review the effectiveness of tools regularly in line with Theory of Change and Program Design
    • Collect and analyze data according to evaluation frameworks and program design.
      • Manage Salesforce, Power BI, ODK, and any other technology introduced to help manage data
      • Hire and manage data and research assistants as necessary, and in line with budget.
      • Timely data entry and analysis to inform programming
      • Manage data storage
      • Consider alternative disaggregation and analysis of data for strategic insights.
    • 2) Line Management
      • Oversee Learning and Evaluation Officer(s), offering support, ensuring role and task fulfilment, and crafting personal development goals and associated plans.
      • Leverage the support of the Learning and Evaluation Officer(s) to see evaluation design, implementation and reporting requirements fulfilled in a timely manner.
      • Conduct and document regular performance reviews, and escalate concerns as appropriate
    • School recruitment and due diligence
      • Map new and existing communities as necessary, and build relevant data sets that will inform program design and implementation.
      • Develop criteria, tools, and procedures for initiating new school partnerships, in collaboration with Programs Team.
      • Set timelines and workplans for the recruitment of Partner Schools, and School Leaders.
      • Ensure new school partnerships are appropriately selected given program design, Dignitas’ vision and values, and desired impact.
    • 4) Ensure evidence based program design, implementation, and reporting.
      • Project Reporting –provide Programs Team, on agreed timelines, data and observations/recommendations that can be incorporated into program reports for both internal and external use.
      • Set criteria for, and oversee, the internal assessment of School Leaders across programs
        • Ensure quality and rigor of competency rubrics across program cohorts
        • Support norming of coaches (and any other observers) for inter-rater reliability
    • Create and manage feedback loops across and within programs to ensure program implementation is effective, efficient, and responsive as appropriate.
