    Head of Sales and Marketing

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement marketing strategies and marketing plans
    • Negotiate pricing guidelines by individual accounts or stores/ supermarkets within set parameters.
    • Ensure that set sales targets are achieved by developing and managing a team of sales team including training, setting targets and providing operational support
    • Evaluate market trends, gather competitor information, and identify trends that affect current and future growth of sales volumes.
    • Ensure quality customer service and maintain effective relationships with new and existing customers.
    • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly performance reports,
    • Benchmark and implement best practices in sales and marketing,
    • Liaise regularly with departments to ensure product availability is in line with sales orders and other requirements.
    • Manage all sales-related data to provide the management with accurate reports.
    • Promote a positive corporate image
    • Ensure reports are compiled and presented as agreed or requested.

    Requirements

    • Degree in Sales and Marketing or a related field. A diploma or certificate in Sales & Marketing added advantage
    • Three (3) years of experience in FMCG preferably milk companies
    • Valid BCE driving license with at least 3 years of driving experience
    • Computer literate with excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, persuasive and analytical skills
    • Knowledge of sales and marketing dynamics in FMCG as well as a good understanding of brand positioning and market segmentation.

    Chief Accountant

    Key Responsibilities

    • Ensure the smooth operation of the Accounts department on a daily basis.
    • Ensure the classification, recording, and posting of accounting transactions to the general ledger, as well as their reconciliation.
    • Carrying out bank reconciliations,
    • Prepare, consolidate and harmonize the organization’s annual budget.
    • Oversee and facilitate external and internal audit processes, as well as ensure that recommendations are implemented.
    • Prepare and present management accounts (balance sheet, profit and loss statement, cash flow reports, and other reports) on a monthly basis.
    • Preparation of society’s economic reports and approving society payments.
    • Calculation of milk payment rate, accounting and overseeing members’ milk payments.
    • Reconciliation and follow-up of external debtors and creditors.
    • Prepare and present management accounts (balance sheet, profit and loss statement, cash flow reports, and other reports) on a monthly basis.
    • Ensure taxes are properly calculated, accrued, and paid within the stipulated time
    • Evaluating society’s internal controls for adequacy and recommending their review.
    • Prepare special financial reports as may be required from time to time.
    • Preparation of monthly financial board papers and appropriate advising of the Board.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business (Finance, Accounting, Economics). A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and ICPAK member.
    • 5 years of similar work experience in a comparable institution,
    • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as a team player
    • Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Excel, and working knowledge of accounting packages
    • Excellent understanding of accounting and reporting standards and procedures, and
    • Experience with the preparation and analysis of financial statements

    Records Management Officer

    Key Responsibilities

    • Receiving, registering and maintaining records at the central archive.
    • Organize and arrange records in a central archive for ease of retrieval.
    • Oversee establishment and maintenance of branch registries.
    • Implement a records management program in accordance with the Sacco records management policy.
    • Continuously train staff on records and archives management & operations.
    • Manage and provide an inventory of Sacco records.
    • Develop and maintain physical and electronic registers of all records both at the branch level and those moved to the central archive.
    • Coordinate the filing, indexing, digitization and disposal of obsolete records with expired conservation periods.
    • Preparing disposal schedules in accordance with government regulations and Sacco policies.

    Essential Requirements

    • Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in records management, a higher national diploma in records management, and at least five years of relevant work experience.
    • The candidate must demonstrate a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and document management system (DMS).
    • The candidate must have excellent skills in supervision communication, problem-solving, report writing, creativity and innovativeness, and interpersonal relations.
